CEC Palace (Palatul C.E.C.), Calea Victoriei, Bucharest, March 15, 2024
The CEC Palace, built between 8 June 1897 and 1900, is the headquarters of CEC Bank.
Built in eclectic style, the palace is topped by a glass and metal dome. The entrance features an arch supported by two pairs of columns in composite style. The four corners are decorated with gables and coats of arms and ending in Renaissance domes.

zaterdag naar Middelheim festival geweest,een fantastisch evenement met o.a. Cecile die ik voor de eerste keer hoorde en gelijk een groot fan.
Twee jaar geleden was Cécile McLorin Salvant amper bekend bij het jazzminnende publiek. Nochtans had ze in 2010 de Thelonious Monk Competition in Washington D.C. gewonnen, waar Wynton Marsalis haar opmerkte en haar carrière werd gelanceerd. In de zomer van 2013 trad ze tweemaal op tijdens het Gent Jazz Festival, op de Main Stage met Jacky Terrasson, en op de Garden Stage met haar eigen album, WomanChild (2013), dat nog maar recent was gereleast. Het was niets minder dan een revelatie.
