I took lots of pictures of terns while paddling around Dungeness Bay today (Sequim, WA).

I was waiting for the Osprey couple to do something around their nest when I suddenly noticed this Caspian Tern flying back and forth over the canal in search of fish. At some point it dove; the roof top of the house by the canal created this reddish backdrop. Keswick, Ontario
