Added to You can't take pictures here! group. You will rarely see a photo like this here in Vegas, especially right in the middle of the tables such as this one, as all casinos strictly forbid photography inside the gambling area. But luckily, my hands were quicker than the blackjack dealer who frantically said "No! No! No!", as he waved his index finger from left to right.

Casino Novo is a cooperative between the Native American Moonshiners (with a monopoly on casinos and alcohol and tobacco/cigarette traffic) and the Yakuza (a coalition of the biggest Asian mafias with a stranglehold on weapons trafficking and prostitution).
This was done to end the wars between the two gangs that were raging in the megalopolis of Goldstriproad, an annex of Las Vegas.
The creation of the casino allowed the hatchet to be buried for a while but did not ease the tensions. Disputes broke out after the death of the Moonshiners chief (who initiated this pseudo-reconciliation) as to who would take over the administration of the casino (which normally belonged to the Moonshiners, the yakuzas who managed prostitution and security in the area). The famous place will fall successively in the hands of one or the other mafia according to the fights to finish by being partially destroyed during an attack. Abandoned, the place will become a den of Cyberboners (organ and cybernetic implants traffickers) after the conflict between the 2 mafias has moved to the original.

Pegasus and Dragon, Gulfstream Park, Hallandale Beach, Florida
Pegasus and Dragon is an eye-catching attraction at Gulfstream Park, a racetrack and casino in Hallandale Beach, Florida. At a staggering 110 feet tall and weighing more than 700 tons, it’s no surprise the artwork clocks in as the second-tallest statue in the contiguous United States. Pegasus is thought to be the largest bronze equine statue in the world.
Het vierde Kursaal van Oostende vormt een hoogtepunt uit de architectuur van de jaren ‘50, getypeerd door een modernistische vormgeving, gecombineerd met neoklassieke elementen aan de voorgevelzijde. Architect Leon Stynen zette een avant-garde gebouw neer met een doorgedreven opzet naar transparantie en reductie. Aan het oorspronkelijke ontwerp werden tal van wijzigingen aangebracht. Een zeer grondige verbouwing door het architectenbureau Storme – Van Ranst (vanaf 2000) wilde de oorspronkelijke ideeën van Stynen alsnog realiseren, vijftig jaar na datum. Binnen bevinden zich muurschilderingen van Paul Delvaux, keramiek van Pierre Caille en fresco’s van Marc Mendelsohn. In 1998 werd het gebouw beschermd als monument.

The Casino Royal is his largest and most ornate.
It’s named the Casino Royal. The boat’s theme is based on the James Bond movie.
McDonald made his fortune on security cameras. Now retired, he enjoys lounging on the 3,000-square-foot deck, especially with his dog.
Inside, marble and mahogany decorate 7,000 square feet – no expense spared to create the ultimate yachting experience.
The sky lounge is the most-used room with a media area, dining room table and full bar.
In the formal salon, the big screen TV is elegantly concealed.
A 10-person crew lives on the boat full time.
Visitors stay in style in one of six guest bedrooms, including a VIP room with its own marble tub.
But the most luxurious accommodation, reserved for the owner, is the master suite. And no master bathroom would be complete without a seven-head shower.
TVs are concealed throughout the boat, which is kept in pristine condition, including an engine room that literally sparkles.
David lives just two hours from Stockton, and despite the city’s current financial struggles, he says this is one of the prettiest ports in the world.
“You can see the investment,” he says. “It’s a beautiful view.”
This is a private yacht so they won’t be giving any public tours, but it’s awfully fun to get an inside look at what $42 million floating on the water looks like.

In 1922 wordt de Antwerpse senator en industrieel Joseph Nellens eigenaar van een terrein van 220 hectaren, gelegen tussen Duinbergen en Knokke. Een nieuwe dijk wordt aangelegd in 1925, waardoor een nieuw strand ontstaat : het Albertstrand. Vervolgens besluit Joseph Nellens over te gaan tot het oprichten van een Casino dat wordt ingehuldigd op 5 juli 1930.
De Magrittezaal (rotondezaal) dankt haar naam aan de monumentale fresco’s die haar wanden versieren en die het werk zijn van de beroemde Belgische surrealistiche kunstschilder René Magritte (1898-1967). De muurschildering, genaamd “Het Betoverd Domein”, verenigt het merendeel van de inspiratiebronnen van deze kunstenaar. Ze werd verwezenlijkt in 1953 op verzoek van wijlen Gustave Nellens. Deze zaal, die dienst doet als congres- en banketzaal, werd in 2003 beschermd.

The Casino at Blackpool Pleasure Beach was built between 1937 and 1940 to the designs of Joseph Emberton for Leonard Thompson. Though named 'The Casino' it never served as such and was in fact an entertainment complex. Facilities included Kitchens on the ground and first floor, serving a number of restaurants and bars, a billiard room, sports facilities, basement stores, an office and Managers flat. It was restored and altered in 1972 and again in 1977 to 1979 by Keith Ingham. It is constructed of reinforced concrete in the International Modern Style. It is of three storeys with a basement and is designed to a circular plan with a sweep of glazed windows. The circle is broken by three principal projections marking the main entrance and foyer, the main exit and the main public stairs. The exterior is dominated by a tall spiral tower, which with a lower rectangular tower flank the main entrance. The interior has a number of intriguingly curved rooms which have been altered but retain some of the original 1930's style. Features include 'wheel-like' ceiling beams and columns. Above the mezzanine office range is a well-preserved manager's flat with a fine original interior. The Casino is one of only three major works by Emberton to survive including Simpson's of Piccadilly (Westminster) and the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club (Burnham-on-Crouch). Joseph Emberton was the first British-born architect to design convincingly in the Modern Movement style and the only one included in Henry-Russell Hitchcock and Philip Johnson's ground-breaking New York exhibition of 1932, 'The International Style'.
So this was a multi-tiered cake. The bottom was a poker table, the next tier was a roulette table, the next four tiers were staggered and topsy turvey poker chips, followed by two dice. The cake had lights that were flashing, fondant poker chips and playing cards. It was a mammoth cake but it came out really cool. This casino theme cake was created for Nicholas' Bar Mitzvah.
