This wonderful family from Minnesota adopted this little guy in Utah and made a little detour to stop and see me on their way home. How cool is that? Everything aligned just perfectly!!
Life doesn't get any better than this. Period. Meet the beautiful Cash...on day 6.
studio light.
I had the honor to meet, interview, and take pictures of Johnny Cash in the 80's while working as a photojournalist for the Tampa Tribune newspaper. Johnny and his wife June were doing a benefit concert in Pasco County, FL, a place they called their second home. This is a shot that I took and developed in the darkroom. An amazing memory.
Original taken with a Nikon FE and Nikkor 180 2.8.
I shot a picture of the original with my D7200. and cleaned it up in PS.
It's been a while since i've posted anything... took most of May to travel... now i'll spend much of June finally posting everything.
Mit diesen Worten begrüße der größte Country & Folk Sänger immer seine Zuschauer und Zuhörer.
Heute vor 14 Jahren, am 12. September 2003 starb Johnny Cash in Nashville. Mitten in Downtown von Nashville gibt es seit einigen Jahren Das Johnny Cash Museum - für Cash Fans ein absolutes MUSS! Die Aufnahme entstand an der Rückseite des Museums auf einem abgelegenen Parkplatz.
A shot from the Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art. This exhibit "Brazilian Bank" by Meschac Gaba centred around the display of banknotes of various colours and nations. The colour and array of mixed bills was unusual so I took a few shots, trying to isolate the notes in the foreground will retaining some information about what was going on behind.

London South Bank 1 of 3
Buskers have to keep up with the times as cash disappears. I tried to buy a can of drink from a kiosk on the South Bank and they wouldn’t take my coins…and there are other places that don’t take cards. Confused? You will be!
the money $hot
"As the world stock markets fluctuate, two-thirds of international trade is transacted in U.S dollars, this accounts for 0.3% of dollar usage in the global economy which in return is valued at about $30 trillion." ~Tomitheos
fun fact: it costs about 4 cents to make each bill $

....this shot was taken at the local shopping centre when I went to pick up my daughter from work. There was no-one around and while I was sitting, waiting for her I stuck my purse on the ground - and took this shot - how weird is that!
Spent the last few days away at our caravan with gorgeous weather. Who can resist the beach? Cash can't that's for sure! Rocking his wet & crimped look :)
Cash force is a 12 metre waterfall in the north Pennines just north of Cross Fell. This is the bottom part of the fall, the top is more of a cataract

Countries With The Highest GDP In The World
The World has a total GDP of about 60 trillion US dollars, and 14 trillion of that is turned over by the United States of America alone. That means that the US earned almost a quarter of all the World's new wealth in 2008, the year in which both sets of figures below - from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) - are based. According to both of those pan-global organisations, the top 10 countries below had a combined GDP of 40 trillion dollars in 2008, which is a strong indicator of how unfair the global economy remains. Whilst the US takes the top spot, if the European Union was considered a single country, it would top the list instead with a combined GDP of 18 trillion dollars, 14 trillion of which is attributed to the countries within the Eurozone............
Taken back in mid January. In the summer months this footbridge is the best spot for pictures of the water lilies
We introduced him to my sister's other dog Missy today. We were pleasantly surprised as they both pretty much got on with their walk ignoring each other.
This was taken on his first day :)
