Opening act di Hey Violet il 4 dicembre ai Magazzini Generali di Milano, Jessarae.

In his writing, playing, and performing, 18-year-old Jessarae (Jez-uh-ray) reveals a true, old soul in a young man’s body. Jessarae takes his place as an unrelenting talent whose guitar playing and songwriting can be felt in your gut and in your soul. His music offers a raw, melodic, sometimes acoustic, garage rock that recalls seminal influences from Damien Rice to My Bloody Valentine. Juxtaposed with a uniquely broad and meticulously controlled vocal range and confidence, Jessarae's developed sound is a reflection of his near decade of experience in creating and performing.

Known for his singles "Follow Me," "Wild Ones," and "Milk and Honey," the singer and songwriter known as Jessarae established a formidable presence on social media, having attracted nearly 15,000 Twitter followers, close to 5,000 YouTube subscribers, and over 20,000 Facebook fans by early 2015.

His first YouTube post, uploaded in July of 2013, shows him playing a cover of the Johnny Cash song "Folsom Prison Blues" at the Warped Tour in Pomona, California.

In February of 2015, he toured with the alternative rock band Saints of Valory.

Born Jesse Robitaille, he is the son of Stacia Toten and former NHL star Luc Robitaille and the younger half brother of Vampire Diaries actor Steven R. McQueen.

Like fellow California musician Eric Statz, Jessarae promoted his music on SoundCloud.

The use of Tractors on the short set from Norwich to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft is indeed a bit of a cash machine for AGA with bashers guaranteed most days riding behind them on Anglia Plus Ranger tickets. Here they wait departure on the 12.36 to Great Yarmouth.

Cash and I went to our first pet fair on Saturday, hoping somebody would spot him that couldn't live without him. I have to say... he didn't do great. He was super friendly to everybody that walked by, including kids (though he did jump up on a couple people). But he was also extremely interested in all the other dogs - and then was snarly and very dominant acting toward them. I have to admit, I was surprised given how easily he fit in here.

One guy really liked him (actually admitted that he'd come thinking he wasn't interested in a white boxer, but "there's something about him...") but when he brought his current girl (about 1 y.o. boxer) over, it definitely wasn't love at first sight. The little girl was as submissive as they come, laying down and rolling over immediately upon meeting him. But Cash went and stood directly over her. The guy took both of them for a walk - Cash did settle down and was fine once they were walking -- but when they got back, Cash mounted the girl. She let him for a little while, but when she tried to get away, it turned into an actual (minor) scuffle.

I'm super surprised. I don't know if it was the environment, the excitement, etc. -- or if I just got really lucky with Bear and Belle (he and Belle have had a few minor battles, but they've been over food or a bone -- mostly they just ignore each other). He and Bear have never so much as raised a lip at each other (and Bear will correct annoying dogs or dogs that try to exhibit too much dominance). I don't know... maybe it was being leashed. Or maybe he just doesn't like other boxers. I knew from what I'd seen between him and Belle that he was unlikely to back down from a fight, but I was shocked he was picking them.

Anyway, he did a shitty job selling himself (well, that's not completely true - he sold himself really well until another dog came into the picture). We've got a lot more work to do than I had realized. I'm hoping that if I keep putting crap on his head and making him pose for ridiculous photos, he'll try harder to find his forever home.
