I was having lunch at Darla's on Irving when I noticed this area of tables that had been repurposed for storing a bunch of stuff for the restaurant. Upon closer look, I saw a pile of cash under the box of 4oz. MINI KITTY & PUPPY, and another pile of cash wrapped in a piece of paper just behind it.
He's cute as a button... still a little devil though... chewed another dog bed today. I haven't crated him in over 2 weeks. Thought we were done with it, but noooooooooo... his jaws are still in over drive!!

I interrupt my ongoing tour of our Hawaiian vacation for this local shot taken at the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge. I ran it through the new HDR plug in to Snapseed and then shifted the white balance into the warmer tones to get rid of those Winter blues and grays. I think it's one of the best results I've had from the iPhone so far.
We're off in Denver Colorado right now visiting my daughter Sarah for Christmas. So I'll upload some iPhone shots until I return to my normal desktop for more shots from Hawaii.

$5,000 ringgit. Probably the only time I'll ever have that much cash in my hand.
For whatever reason people in Malaysia still seem to deal with large sums in cash. I guess its to do with the fact that much day-to-day business is still done using cash (no hawker accepts credit card), and also the old school mentality that the safest place for your money is under your bed. ;)
Currently the CAMRA branch pub of the year, the Rifle Volunteers in Maidstone has also been identified as having a regionally important historic pub interior.
Cyclone Thane which struck Tamil Nadu in December 2011 also affected families living in the camps. With ECHO funding cyclone-hit families were given cash to repair their houses.

This old cash register sits up at Prairie Dog, cool name for a dog groomers shop. We've been takin our pups up there for along time. They do a great job of takin care of our babies. Ruckus can't wait to get cleaned up and Dexter has the look on his face like Why Me?
