The falling Lisianthus flowers refer to the theatrical effect of applause or cheering. Lisanthus symbolises appreciation and gratitude. The people depicted are an experienced nurse and a doctor, who together depict the impact, dedication and human side of working in healthcare. The arrow points to the left, as in the past an arrow pointing to the left referred to in symbolic/spiritual context to ward off evil.
The future of the Amazon forest depends in large part on those whose livelihoods depend on the forest and who care for it.

I could wait for a long time and never have a better photo opportunity than this fleeting encounter between two tender souls.
I shot this of my wife caressing a baby wild rabbit as she returned it to the woods behind our house after it had wandered up to our back door......
Crea Fx Taylor mask, blue lenses, G cups, and tasty curves encased in a summery frock and two pairs of shimmery dance tights.
But I care.
Tagged by Rachel to write anything, a poem, a story, anything at all - so here's a poem I wrote a couple of weeks ago that fit in with this photo and coincided with the windmill spinning inside my head.
Out of my mind.
i don't see you
anymore
if only
out of sight meant
out of mind

Improbity
In each word we say
Mendacity
We pretend to pray
Perfidious
The words of Jesus
And anytime
We end up smashed to pieces
Ingratitude
In a world of lies
We are free from cares
We close our eyes
I assume
There is no healer
To heal this world
To make us cleaner
I assume
There is no healer
To heal this world
To make us cleaner
Free from cares
Hypocrisy
We show each day
Leads into darkness
We go insane
Understandably
We are of no account
We jeer the creatures
That we once found
It`s tenderness
We are living on
So it`s not wonder
That we`re all gone

If you don’t fill your own cup,
don’t complain about the thirst.
Yourself is not meant for “later.”
If you want to be respected,
be the first to show how it’s done.
⁛ Care isn’t weakness, it’s a way of being.

Take care of the "outside"... There are millions of ways that help... but remember ALSO to take care of the INSIDE...

Self-Care - Bobcats like all felids are very meticulous groomers. Grooming helps them spread oils on their fur which improve the integrity and water resistance of their fur. Additionally, grooming helps cats remove dirt, parasites and other irritants from their coats.
Proper grooming is a sign of a healthy, content cat and cats may spend up to half their time that they are awake maintaining their coats.
Species: Bobcat (Lynx rufus)

She’s decided to fully embrace the concept of self-care, starting with a visit to the Hello Kitty Bakery.
This Blythe doll is Lady Camellia, wearing an outfit I made, standing in front of the great scenery that came with the “My Life as…Hello Kitty Bakery” play set from Walmart.

Challenge #195: Caring This is the best group of photos I have to illustrate caring. Hailey is going to fix Laney's hair, but Laney doesn't want her hair fixed. So she crawls under the furniture to hide. Hailey grabs her legs and pulls her out. Hailey sits Laney in a chair and Laney doesn't like it so she starts to fuss. Hailey goes and finds a book and gives it to her so she'll have something to do while her hair is being fixed. Hum, the hair didn't turn out quite the way Hailey wants so she takes it out and starts again. Finally, she gets the perfect hairdo. The older sister taking care of her younger sister. This demonstrates caring, don't you think!
All of my life, I had always thought about what it would be like to see a live polar bear ... as opposed to that massive stuffed one that I remember as a child as part of the Miami Science Museum. I still remember being so in awe of the size as it stood on its hind legs, with me dwarfed as I stood next to it. I never imagined though that I would actually have the adventure of my life by actually living that dream.
Kaktovik, Alaska is a remote village - where the land ends, with the arctic ocean separating it from the North Pole. As the day neared, I began imagining how it was going to be. Finally, that day arrived and off I flew, alone, to Fairbanks and eventually Barter Island. I hoped that the bears would be meeting me there and that it would be everything that I hoped that it would be.
Ursus maritimus is the polar bears scientific name. These bears are quite large and males can weigh up to 1,000 pounds. They live on the polar ice, as they hunt seals and other food sources, but are quite at home swimming and playing in the water. Our first bear sightings were along the shoreline, but soon we witnessed them swimming and playing in the icy waters ... very slushy in fact. It was so amazing to watch them, especially fascinating was how they dove under the surface of the water, much like a seal would dive. Such grace as they skillfully navigated about and fabulously playful when they encountered another swimming around as well. As far as bears go, I found them to be much more social than brown bears and the moms to also be exceptional at taking care of their young. I think that for the first day or so, I was so awed by being in their presence and would routinely pinch myself to be sure it wasn't a dream. LOL
One day, I will return to visit them again, whether in Kaktovik or somewhere else, so that Tom could witness the same joy. Until then, I have these memories ... that and LOTS and LOTS of images. :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by to view and especially for sharing your thoughts and comments as well.

"I'm paralyzed
Just listening to you
Now I am receptive
I know you sleep
So sound every night
And you are deceptive
It always feels good to be right
And if it helps you sleep at night
I'll tell you what you want to hear
And act like I care"
(Helmet-Like I care)
This is part of a very special care package that was sent to me by a sweet, sweet Flickr contact. She knows what I have been struggling with and took the time to send me some special things to brighten my day. I really appreciate it and my Thanks sounds so shallow to me. And in the midst of this Flickr contact's own trials and a time of recovery, she managed to send this to me. That means so much.
Today is an especially rough day. A person that is very disruptive in my life and makes me have a sick-feeling stomach and nervous/anxiousness all day is around me again. I can feel my whole demeanor change. I cannot stand it.
So I had to look at the photo of my special gifts to remind me of the good people in my life that are good for my soul. Because there are some that are not. And when I really can't do anything about it, it is very disheartening.
This is a man we met in this small Moldavian village called Ivancea. He took us to his house to show his pigeons - he's got so many of them, totally amazing looking creatures, and he is so proud of them. I just really hope he takes good care of them.
Do I care what people think? Hah afraid not.
There was a some article on the net the other day about things that partners hide from there partners that lead to divorce or during the divorce process. Amongst the list was the normal unfaithful. undeclared business assets , Prostitutes, get this one bestiality claimed as a reason why a wife left her husband. The was ended with this. "And the biggest shocker was a woman's husband was a crossdresser "!!!
So bestiality is less of shock to discover your husband is into than him crossdressing.
No wonder we are still viewed as freaks when people think like that. even if it was a joke.
