Every year my Columbine flowers return to fill my garden with purple and pink blossoms. The structure of these flowers reminds me of a porcelain sculpture. Art in the garden....isn't it lovely?
One of natures truly beautiful creatures.
I doubt I will ever have the honour of seeing one of these in the wild unfortunately. This beauty and it's mate were at Harewood House Bird Garden
The snowy owl, also known as the polar owl, the white owl and the Arctic owl, is a large, white owl of the true owl family. Snowy owls are native to the Arctic regions of both North America and the Palearctic, breeding mostly on the tundra.

This night photograph was taken in Minyue Watertown near Fuzhou last month.
There were lanterns hung between the illuminated buildings on both sides of the waterway and the reflections on the calm water surface complemented the nightscape.
The water mists released from the pipes fixed along the banks of the waterway and light projections on the right of the photograph provided additional interests for the watertown.
This photograph of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics Stadium, affectionately called the “Birdnest” was taken three days ago during my visit to Tsinghua University.
It was a relatively calm evening. The waterway adjacent to the Birdnest offered a near mirror-like surface for captivating reflections of the intricate Birdnest structure and nearby trees.
This photograph was taken four days ago at Lower Seletar Reservoir, looking from Heritage Bridge towards the Orchid Country Club and beyond.
The sun was rising above some low lying clouds and vegetation, and illuminated the clouds of different shapes above. The vegetation and lamp posts provided additional interest to the morning landscape.

Witnessing the slow opening of Columbine Flower is something to behold. It’s a very beautiful flower. It is the state flower of the State of Colorado. The intricacy of this flower is mesmerizing. To think that the pieces open up to the beautiful flower shown here. The wonderful color of the modified petal consisting of a blade and spur; stamens and pistil. Flowers are great examples of engineering (lol) in that when they’re closed they look so compact. When flowers are opened they leave us wondering how in the world do they fold together so perfectly. The “Intricacies Are Captivating” to say the least. Thanks for viewing my work. Stay Safe and be kind. Try to witness a flower during the opening stages. Truly fascinating.🙏

More magnificent Autumn colours...fingers crossed that we don't get the usual gales that strip the trees of their beauty!
The Moroccan Sahara encompasses a large portion of southern Morocco and has an area of about 252,000 square miles (652,000 square kilometers). With vast swaths of sand dunes, rugged mountains, rocky plateaus, and lush oasis valleys, the desert landscape is breathtaking.
The region was blessed with rare heavy rain on the day before our visit.
How fortunate we arrived a day later with fine weather, got to ride on the camel and watched the sunset on top of a sand dune.
