I went to Burger King for lunch. While ordering there was this guy who was staring at me. I don't know why, I don't know if he was staring at me or past me but it was just freaking me out. There aren't that many fast food joints next to my office. There is a Burger King, Pizza Hut, KFC and a Mc Donalds, although Mc Donalds is like a 20 minute walk away. There are tons of Indian and Chinese restaurants though and one day when I get the balls I will try one of them.
Two older girls here are my daughters, holding princess Andriana (10 mo), she is a good walker though... They had a blast this past weekend, and I was able to capture some of that.
A younger elephant hoping to get one of the peanuts that the older and much taller elephant can get from above.
iโve been messing around with veggie burgers on and off for some time and i think i got pretty close to what i wanted out of it. you might notice there are a couple spots where i add a little oil, to give the burger just a little better mouthfeel. i guess if i really wanted it juicy i could have added lard, but that would have been a bit naughty! The egg is important too, vegans, so youโll just have to suck it up or do without (itโll probably work that way too, though), as this is vegetarian, not vegan, if iโm understanding the political divide correctly.
1- 1.5 cups chickpeas. i expect you made your own in a pressure cooker- canned is evil and expensive
about a half cup of sticky rice, cooked
i slice stale bread (which i expect you baked yourself, as store-bought is expensive too), chopped fine. the bread is super duper important- it helps bind everything together and retains moisture
about a teaspoon of potato starch- this too helps bind everything and retain moisture
i large egg
a couple scallions, chopped fine
about .25 cups curly parsley chopped fine
half a portabella cap, nasty black gills scraped off, washed, and chopped fine
a splash of olive oil, with more for spritzing
a splash of worstershire sauce (oops, there *is* anchovy in worstershire, use tamari and a smear of dark colored miso)
a squirt of siracha
pinches of paprika, salt, ground pepper, sugar, cumin, and herbs de provence
throw everything but the chickpeas together and swirl it all together, then add the chickpeas and start crushing it together with a potato masher. you want it lumpy, with some of the chickpeas still in big chunks- thisโll keep it chewy. i think if you mashed it into a paste the resulting burger would end up mushy- you donโt wanna bite into this and have it squirt out the sides of the bun.
divide the mixture 4 ways and form 4 burger sized patties with your hands- put them on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper, spritz them with more oil, and bake at 350ยบ for a half hour. you can use them as burger now, or wrap them in the parchment paper and stash it it the fridge until the next day or whatever. if you reheat them, try and let them warm up to room temp if possible. fry them (at medium) in a covered non stick skillet (with a little oil), two minutes on a side. these burgers have enough structural integrity to survive flipping with a spatula( the right kind for nonstick surfaces), though i wouldnโt risk them on a grill. when you flip them over the first time, lay some cheese on top if you so desire.

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One # to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other # to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days # staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. Itโs a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow # a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left # I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. Thatโs why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

Carte de visite by A.B. Tubbs of Farmer Village, Seneca County, N.Y. Two young boys in wool suits and matching hats sit in a horse-drawn carriage. The boy on the left appears older, and he holds the reins.
The community of Farmer Village was known by locals as Farmerville in the early part of the 19th century. In 1815, a post office was established with the name McCallโs Store. The name was changed four years later to Farmer, which caused quite a bit of confusion for decadesโall the way through the Civil War. On Nov. 20, 1865, the name was changed to Farmer Village, and it is possible these lads are pulled up in front of the post office. Today, the place is known as Interlaken.

Central African Republic, December 2012: Clemence [NAME CHANGED] was recently released after four years in a rebel group. She now stays in a UNICEF-assisted transit centre and regularly visits her mother, who lives nearby. The centre provides shelter, psychosocial assistance and other support for children previously associated with armed groups and forces while helping to reintegrate them into their families and communities.

I also can't believe I have such amazing friends who are comfortable around me and treat me as the woman I am.
Freightliner Class 86/6s Nos. 86639 & 86607 slip 'around the back' at Preston on 12th November 2014, with the much missed 4M74 1401 Coatbridge - Crewe Basford Hall. Much missed as it was the only southbound summer daylight Anglo-Scotish Freightliner that regularly produced Class 86s. I expected them on Platform 5, but they were signalled through Platform 6, resulting in a hurried change of position. Still, the LNWR wrought iron work seems to complement the new car park facade at night, and the driver put his cab light on, so it was not a total failure! Hiding from the Freemont Troll. I was fortunate to have been able to spend some time outdoors today, as the sun actually decided to show up! We spent the day out, of course, and hung out around downtown Seattle.
Syd had a great time playing. Me too! I'm glad this is a short week. I really treasure these times with the family.

It seems like just yesterday I was learning how to set my Flash to Manual , now a days I have 2 SB800 and 1 SB600 that I use on manual all the time , heck now I fuckin hate TTL mode
I have no words to express what and how I feel , just know that it has been such a fuckin great adventure , you guys have seen me sad , pissed off , happy , and everything in between , it's like if you guys were watching a soap Opera with me on it hehehe , I played the good and the bad guy
So I just hope I have put out a good performance and that you've enjoyed the Show
