That's right, Mr. Monkey the MoJo Man
is all kinds of stressed out here - Not -
When I'm on the computer he's always
nearby watching my every move.
Sometimes he's under the desk and at
other times he's just lurking around.
So, a plan has come together for
Wednesday. We are going to the
monkey temple loaded with food
and monthly dog medications.
Hopefully there will be photos
documenting all the activities.
Catch ya all on the rebound ;-)-

Pouring the sauce over the fish, I did cheat with the sauce by using a packet mix jazzed up a little not that I can't make a cheese sauce from scratch just we didn't have enough cheese.
It was a long day yesterday doing all the normal things a woman looking after house does but it was strangely satisfying. and in image like this is just the epitome of who I always wanted to be and how I thought I would look as a woman.
Sorry got a bit deep towards the end but you know what I mean.

Street photography is not only, doggies and sweetness eh?
That is where we are often faced with the HARD REALITY...
Beer and Can culture ?
Nowadays, sadly, wherever you'll come across the junk and litter people have discarded negligently, EVERYWHERE!
Are we the only animals who soil their nest?
Well, I was raised differently and it angers me, yet realising their is little that I could do about it and that the emotion was detrimental to my wellbeing, I started to use it in a 'creative' way, a different approach...
I read that optimism is healthy ofr you! LOL
Keep it clean and thanx, M, (*_*)

Look up in the mirror, oh my God, it's me
So much Prada on me, I'm a Pradagy
I'ma do my thing, no apologies
Coconut and rose in my skin regime
Mirror, mirror on the wall, tell me what you see
It's that, oh my God, it's lookin' heavenly (ooh)
Poppin' Power Rangers, purple, yellow, pink
Throwin' ones, wonder what my mama think
Feelin' like a stripper when I'm lookin' in the mirror
I'll be slappin' on that ass gettin' thicker and thicker
I can't think what this white flower could be - my knowledge of garden plants is so limited. If anyone can tell what it is from this angle, I would really appreciate help with the ID - thanks! Could it be a Mallow species?
My daughter and I had a such a great day on 5 September 2017. She had a free day, so we decided to drive north-east of the city and visit the Pioneer Acres Museum. The day started off with seeing three perched Swainson's Hawks, which were a bonus. We had passed the colourful old truck and tractor displayed on tall posts, to indicate Pioneer Acres, on various occasions and this time, we actually went to the museum. What an amazing collection of old farming equipment, some standing outdoors and many others in large sheds. Have to say that I am always attracted to older, rusty things, and there was no shortage of these, either.
"Pioneer Acres is operated by a team of volunteer members who, in many cases, have extended their golden years of retirement, performing the duties necessary to meet the club's objectives. These include work to collect, restore, maintain and demonstrate the artifacts which were used by the pioneers of early Alberta.
The end result is that present and future generations have the opportunity to glimpse into our pioneering past through the artifacts on display and demonstrated. Younger members of the club also learn the care, maintenance and operation of these living artifacts." From link below.

While we were walking round the grounds, visiting each massive shed in turn, my daughter spotted a Plains Garter Snake, and waved me over to see it. She also saw several birds running round behind one of the sheds, and when I went to check, I found there were four Gray Partridge running off in the distance. A distant Jackrabbit completed our wildlife sightings, first noticed when it was standing tall and upright on its back legs in 'freeze mode'. My mind wandered to Alice in Wonderland : )
Though we did not do a tour of the inside of the "Long" House, we found it an impressive building, complete with a few Sunflowers, Hollyhock and other flowers in the garden, and a metal windmill.
"The "Long" House was built in 1914 by John Thomas on a farm just northwest of Irricana, Alberta. It has been lived in by three generations of the Long Family since 1914. The house was donated to Pioneer Acres, moved to our location, and restored to 1929 status." From the Pioneer Acres website.
There is also an old schoolhouse on the Museum site. "The Crown School, built in 1905, was located west of Three Hills on Highway 583. It closed in 1953 and was bought by the district of Allingham for use as a community league. In 1996, the building was relocated to Pioneer Aces of Alberta Museum." From the Alberta Teachers' Association website.
After spending a long time walking round the grounds, we decided to drive through Irricana itself in order to get back to the highway. I had seen photos on the Internet of three murals there - sunflowers, crayons, and a view of the old grain elevators that had once stood nearby - and I wanted to go and see them. All near each other, as this town only has a few streets. I had never been to Irricana before and I was impressed with what a delightful place it is, full of brightly coloured murals, and well kept. One of the outer roads had many flower beds along the edge, watered with well water, looking most attractive.
I had asked my daughter if she was interested in calling in at the Silver Springs Botanical Gardens in NW Calgary, if there was time after our drive east. I had planned the drive ahead of time, partly because I had also seen a photo somewhere on the Internet of a rather nice old barn that I really wanted to see. We were not disappointed, though it was a shame to see that the cupola had fallen from the roof since that photo was taken. I had never driven through the town of Airdrie before, but did the "drive" on Google Earth the night before and it looked straightforward enough.
Returning to the city via Cochrane, my daughter told me how to get to Silver Springs. I had never driven there before, but I had been there with a friend last year, I think on 1 October, and thoroughly enjoyed these meticulously kept gardens. We were just too hot and tired to see every inch of the garden, but finished off with photographing sunflowers and enjoying the American Goldfinches that were feeding on them, before we continued on our way.
A great day, despite the heat and smoke from the B.C. and Alberta wildfires (distant low visibility, too). Thanks so much, Rachel - hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. We drove 256 km (used about half a tank of gas, or less). I was absolutely tired out from the heat and driving unfamiliar roads.
Some times the symmetrical ones just grab me so deeply. I can look at them for a long time just day dreaming. I hope you can also enjoy them. Just imagine them being over 8 feet wide on a gallery wall. That is the way I would like them all to be.

Father and son collaboration
Our photographic art is a kinetic motion study, from the results of interacting with my son A.J and his toys.
He was born severely handicapped much like a quadriplegic. On December 17,1998. Our family’s goal has always been to help A.J. use his mind, even though he has minimal use of his body.
A.J. likes to watch lights and movement. One of the few things he can do for himself is to operate a switch that sets in motion lights and various shiny, colorful streamers and toys that swirl above his bed.
One day I took a picture of A.J. with his toys flying out from the big mobile near his bed like swings on a carnival ride. I liked the way the swirling objects and colors looked in the photo.
I wanted to study the motion more and photograph the whirling objects in an artful way, I wanted my son A.J. to be a part of it. After all, he’s the one who inspires me. When A.J. and I work together on our motion artwork, A.J. starts his streamers and objects twirling, I take the photographs.
Activating a tiny switch might not seem like much to some, but it’s all A.J. can do. He controls the direction the mobile will spin, as well as when it starts and stops. The shutter speeds are long, and sometimes, I move the camera and other times I hold it still.
I begin our creation with a Nikon digital camera. Then I use my computer with Photoshop to alter the images into what I feel might be an artistic way. Working with Photoshop, I find the best parts from several images and combine them into the final composite photograph. I consider the finished work to be fine art. The computer is just the vehicle that helps my expressions grow.
I take the photographs and A.J. adds the magic. It’s something this father and son do together. After I’ve taken a few shots, I show him the photos in the back of the camera. When the images are completed, I show him from a laptop. He just looks. He can’t tell me whether or not he likes the images, but he’s always ready to work with me again.
It offers me my only glance into A.J.’s secret world. We’ve built a large collection of images and I hope the motion and color move you as much as they do me.
A.J. inspires me to work harder to understand my life in the areas of art, photography, people, spirituality, and so much more. He truly sets my mind in motion and helps me find the beauty in everyday things.

Duff Light isn't too bad, but the normal Duff is a bit too strong for me.
From Wikipedia: Duff Beer is a brand of beer that originally started as a fictional beverage on the animated series The Simpsons, since then it has become a real brand of beer in a number of countries without permission or consent from its original creator, Matt Groening and has resulted in legal battles with varying results. An official version of the beer is sold in three variations near The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios.
If you Google: 'where can I buy Duff beer', there is a whole lot of info about this beer. The most interesting info is on Wikipedia.
A visit to Cathiron on the 20th of November 2019, the first of my 2 targets being 86608 and 86610 (as reported) on 4L75 Trafford Park-Felixstowe. As it happens, it was 86612 and 86613 on the front, but I wasn`t going to grumble. The light was quite hazy at times, but I did not mind that as it softened the harshness of the shadows here.
Yeah, I'm working, making money
I'm just starting to build a name
I can feel it around the corner,
I could make it any day
Mother mother can you hear me,
Sure I'm sober, sure I'm sane
Life is perfect never better
Still your daughter, still the same

Harvestman can often be colourful, they fluoresce under ultraviolet light, and they come in a bewildering variety of forms. They engage in parental care, building elaborate nests to brood their eggs and engage in battles to deter rivals and predators.
As if that weren't enough to stoke interest, some harvestman also possess a viscoelastic fluid used in prey capture. This means that fluid maintains its form under stress, resulting in an essentially highly flexible solid, and indeed, the greater the stress (movement caused by prey) the stronger the bonding. The adaptation is thought to have evolved in order to ensnare mobile, and evasive springtails.

i can finally stop hunting the postman down, lagoona & her hydration station finally showed up! everything was in working order, except my hydration station won't make bubbles! @.@ which was actually better picture-wise. it might be because i had crappy batteries. i'll check later, plus i'll probably take more pics when i fix her hurr gurrl. kind of disappointed she came with her signature bang just rubberbanded down, hidden behind her sleep mask. i'm starting to dislike bangs on dolls a lot. either way, glad lagoona finally showed up, thus beginning the start of HUNTING SEASON for the rest of the new dolls/characters coming this summer. :D
I was taking photos of Swans & other birds, when this sweet Pigeon comes around to see what all the commotion was about down on the river!
