It is a fairy tale called Saiful Malook, written by the Sufi poet Mian Muhammad Bakhsh... And due to the fame of this story this lake is named as "Saiful Malook".
The story is about a Persian prince named Saif ul Malook who fell in love with a fairy named Badi ul Jamal whom he saw in his dreams. The prince thus started his journey to find his beloved fairy Badi ul Jamal. He was clueless in his restless journey until he met a Devish (holy man), who told him how he can find her. Devish also told him that he had to go through many exams before he could find and marry Badi ul Jamal, because she was a fairy and prince was human.The prince then starts his journey for the impossible in the name of his love. The rest of the story chronicles the challenges he faced during his journey and the spiritual lessons he learned on the way.

86638 and 86637 scream along the old line at Weedon Bec with 4M87 Felixstowe-Hams Hall. I was very lucky to get this. I was held up entering the field for a few minutes as a farmer was unhitching a plough from his tractor at the entrance. As I arrived at my spot to set up, the cans appeared early out of Stowe Hill Tunnel, and I literally jumped up the fence with a fraction of a second to spare, although this resulted in a bad gash to my arm, and the loss of a lot of blood. The fencing here is extremely crudely cut, and every piece seems to have dozens of teeth!! Still, it was worth it!

I really do try to go out of my way to get unique perspectives in my shots, but sometimes, when the conditions are just about perfect, you can't beat the classic viewpoint shot! This is blackwater falls after 4+ inches of rain following the tropical storm on Thursday Evening. The water was really kicking, and of course, you can't beat the beautiful color of the tannin-stained water here.
