The USMC Light Armored Vehicle, Command and Control (LAV-C2) is a vehicle that provides the necessary voice and data connectivity for intelligence, fire support, and maneuver elements in support of the Light Armored Reconnaissance battalion or company. It is armed with a pintle mounted M240 variant (in this case the Combat LMG acts a stand-in for the time being).

Ivatt small-boilered class C2 Atlantic No. 3259 accelerating away from Potters Bar with an up stopping train to Kings Cross probably in the late 1930s. A colourised b/w print taken by E. E. Smith.

"C2" means Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Central Circular Route. By the way, "C1" is Inner Circular Route. :)

C2 203 at the terminus of the Suiling Forestry Railway in Heilongjiang, China in October 1992. I was lucky enough to have a chance to drive this locomotive on the visit to this very long line which is, I believe, still in use with diesel locomotives.
It appears to have a mix of features that make it somewhat difficult to absolutely pinpoint what year model it is. (See my notes that I’ve placed within the photo above for the various features.) I suppose that a quick look at its VIN would yield a solid answer, at least from the legal standpoint.
The back of the same Corvette exhibits features that are curious if not a bit confused. The Year of Manufacture (YOM) plate indicates 1963 as the model year presumably in agreement with the car’s VIN. Yet the most obvious identifying features of a 1963 Corvette - the split backlite and two decorative vent grilles on the hood - do not appear on this car. Furthermore, the 1963-1964 Corvettes feature two horizontal indentations located aft of the wheel opening in the front fender, not the three vertical openings on this car. The hood that features the wide bulge was a feature that became available from 1965-on only for the models with the Big Block V-8 engines such as the 396 and 427.

At the Martin Auto Museum in Phoenix, Arizona is this instructional display featuring a C2 Corvette. Its systems are color code painted. A key to the colors sits on an easel near the front tire.
The C2 Corvette convertible is my favorite shape of all Corvettes. The C2 was offered for model years 1963-67. Judging from the 5 vertical vents on the fender behind the front wheel, this is a 1967 model.
