AirNorth Hawker Siddeley HS-748 C-FCSE parked on the ramp at YVR in September of 2010. This aircraft was the last HS-748 in the fleet when it was retired in 2021 and then delivered to Wasaya Airways.

C&O 4081 Oatka Creek by Mike Stellpflug

RS-97 crosses the bridge over Oatka Creek in Leroy, NY on July 20, 1985. C&O 4081 leads the train, and it did not seem like C&O painted units made it up the BR&P 4th Sub that often. In exactly 1 year, on July 20, 1986, the last RS-97 ran, with the Borg taking over the line the next day.

This is the Bird Dog which directs the air tankers on fires. The pilots and air attack officers love this type for its speed and great visibility.

Ornge was incorporated under the name “Ontario Air Ambulance Services Co.” (“OAASC”) in the Canada Corporations Act. The organization changed its name to Ornge in 2006. Ornge is not an acronym. Instead the unique name was adopted to reflect the well-recognized colour of Ornge’s distinctive vehicles

Ornge owns a fleet of aircraft and land ambulances operating out of 12 bases across Ontario. Vehicles in the fleet include:

8 Pilatus Next Generation PC-12 airplanes,

12 Leonardo AW-139 helicopters, and

13 Crestline Commander land ambulances.
