Se hacía la dormida, llevaba más de media hora despierta, dando vueltas y vueltas en la cama, por su mente paseaban demasiadas cosas que le impedían adentrarse en un sueño, aunque últimamente solo era pesadillas. No quería levantarse, prefería seguir escondida entre las sábanas, aislarse del mundo por un día.
-¡Jane que vas a llegar tarde, vamos!
-¡Vale, vale!
Se levantó, llego al baño, aquí empezaba la dichosa rutina. Observándose las tremendas ojeras, se rascaba la cabeza. Se había levantado con el pie izquierdo y dudaba poder volver a hacerlo algún día con el derecho.
Tenía una familia estupenda y un grupo de amigos envidiable, pero su corazón estaba roto en mil pedazos. Cuando más gente la rodeaba más sola se sentía. Jane no vivía por ella, vivía más por la vida de su perro que por la suya. No la quería, le daba igual ir a la izquierda o a la derecha, subir o bajar, hablar o callar.
Se enfundó sus estrechos pantalones y su chupa llena de chapas y como todas las mañanas, se veía gorda. Se tomó el café con leche y las cuatro galletas de todos los días y cruzó la puerta de su casa.
Solo quería que al cruzar la calle todo terminase, aunque solo fueran unos míseros minutos.
I've been down with the flu bug the past two days - headaches, sore throat, body ache, joint pain... yeah, it was pretty severe. I've been sleeping at least 35hours in the last 48hours... and thanks to that, I feel much better now.
