pika pika test shot from around 10-12 feet with my cell phone as the light source.

Patience is a virtue the saying goes…certainly was in this case. I had to wait for a while to capture this busy bee buzzing around lavender flowers. Worth the wait for sure…

La segunda de Buzz - esta vez su estuche sin el - jeje !!! (Con esta foto me he dado cuenta que diferente parecen las fotos aqui a veces en flickr - esta casi ni parece la misma foto - que raro !!!! )

The second photo of Buzz - this time it's his pen box - LOL !! (With this photo I've realised how different they can sometimes appear here on flickr - this one looks totally different - how strange is that !!!!)

We’ll Buzz has been hanging around my office for a few appearances on my photo stream. Today however it seems he may have stayed too long as something up high looks set to pounce!! For we’re here visiting toys in peril.

Today's theme: fighting for a spot on the perch.

Taken at a Classic Vehicle & Steam Engine Show, only not a single steam engine on site

This blue heron flew very close to me after I'd been taking pictures of its standing. They're pretty majestic when they stand, but when they take flight, they're magnificent!

Taken in my garden this morning

Today we catch a stunning display of aeronautics as a plane is caught "Buzzing The Tower" Top-Gun style...

In retrospect the title is confusing, as I took this photo from the Willis Tower in Chicago, but you can't tell. Maybe "Buzzing Chi-Town" would be a better fit...

Day 287/365

Thanx for Viewin, Favin, and Commentin on my Stream!

Built in 1944, this Mustang served with the forces of the US, Canada and Israel before entering preservation, where it was also converted to a two-seater.

With a 'buzz number' across the fuselage, this aircraft clearly represents the early post-war era, which is welcome change from most Mustangs.

However, these days, this machine wears 'individual' wartime markings and is based in the US rather than Germany.

"If there's a buzzing-noise, somebody's making a buzzing-noise, and the only reason for making a buzzing-noise that I know of is because you're a bee."

Then he thought another long time, and said: "And the only reason for being a bee that I know of is making honey."

And then he got up, and said: "And the only reason for making honey is so I can eat it." So he began to climb the tree.

Thanks to Will Galbraith for helping me take these shots!

Taken in my garden at the end of a rainy day.

I think this Great Blue Heron thought it was about time to buzz the kayak. It made for a fun fly-by.

Endlich habe ich es geschafft, Bienen im Flug zu fotografieren!

Diese friedlichen Sandbienen-Männchen (Andrena) stellten sich dabei als ideales Fotomodell heraus. Man muss die Kleinen einfach mögen :)

This image shows some motion, in the wings particularly. Turned around and caught my fine feathered friend on the fly.... as she buzzed my tower (so to speak).

The shape of this reminds me of Melbourne's 'The Vault Sculpture' (nicknamed Yellow Peril) the-vault-sculpture.

SP-RZD of Buzz departs Dublin for Krakow

It was shortly after that update that we took Buzz out on my first Grid Cruise with Drivers of Second Life.

That day and with two ladies I've come to adore, Tiffini and Emi aboard the updated Buzz Lightspeed, 🎥 i made my first ever video and posted it here ! 🎥

ol' Buzz Lightspeed lives on! A constant joy. Buzz's continued to get loved on with more updates and customizations above and below deck.
