Yesterday my Pal Justin Korn posted a simple query to Google Buzz asking people to post to his Buzz if they were a photopgraher and on Buzz and so far over 100 different photographers have posted to his thread. It seems like photographers are flocking to Google's latest social network and for good reason. Here's another view of many of these photographers from Justin's blog.

Buzz displays your photos much more elegantly than they do on Flickr. As you upload your photos to Flickr, or Google's Picasa (where I've started getting more active myself), your photos are imported into Buzz as a stream of nice looking large sized thumbnail images. But here's where it gets better. Click on an image and Buzz loads up the image's full large size, in all it's glory. I don't know about you, but I love looking at images really big *much* more than I enjoy looking at the medium sized 500 px default that Flickr shows. Rather than have to leave the page that I'm on (like on Flickr to see an image big) I can instead just advance through the images with the keyboard one by one.

Each image includes a link back to flickr/picasa where if I want to I can click on the link and it will open that image in a new tab on my browser to go fave or comment on or do whatever I want on flickr/picasa.

While you are on Buzz you can "like" a photographers import, or comment on it, or whatever. I'm finding that Buzz is every bit as social as a site like Flickr is for photographers and am having some really great conversations about my own work.

Are you a photographer and on Buzz? Then definitely post your info to Justin's thread above. Are you a photographer and not on Buzz yet? What are you waiting for, come on over, the water's nice. It's another great place to showcase your work. Even if you don't have the time or inclination to spend time socially interacting on Buzz, you still might want to at least link it up to your Flickrstream so that people that want to follow your work on Buzz still can.

If you'd like to follow my stuff on Buzz you can find me here. I'm going to be very active on Buzz in the days and weeks ahead.

My Buzz Lightyear cake for my gorgeous nephew Tom. Buzz is made entirely from modelling paste with the help of some dowells to keep him upright. Tom came for holiday with my big brother and his fiance from Barcelona and he took Buzz all the way back with him :o)

If you ever ride Buzz Lightyear's...there is the tunnel scene that features animation of Buzz fighting the bad guy...if you spin around, you'll find the projector playing out the animation loop. these streaks are just all over the place! was very happy to capture this..but had to raise the darker levels to bring out the strength in the light streaks.

I've had this built since before Christmas with the grand idea of building him a little diorama. I was overly frustrated trying to build a nice birch tree though and threw in the towel.

Here's one! I'm going to try for another once I evaluate the scraps.

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin (right) and then-West Palm Beach Mayor Fred O. Easley pose at 1970 rededication of the planetarium, which was named for Aldrin.

I needed a photo of Aldrin and bought this one online. The seller noted, "I purchased it from the family of the photographer, Bob Davidoff."

Davidoff was "the court photographer of the Camelot years of the Kennedy clan in Palm Beach," according to the Washington Post, in Davidoff's 2004 obituary.

What was then known as the Buzz Aldrin Planetarium is part of what is now known as the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach.

According to the Palm Beach Post, in 1965 " ... the place, known as the Science Museum and Planetarium of Palm Beach County, opened a $107,000 planetarium, one of only three in Florida. Officials asked NASA to send an astronaut and promised to name the planetarium for him.

"Four years later, that little-known spaceman, Buzz Aldrin, became the second man on the moon."

According to the center's website, "In 2008, the planetarium and Motorola Theater were completely renovated and renamed through the support of the Dekelboum Family Foundation."

Ret. Air Force Col. Buzz Aldrin was one of the third group of astronauts named by NASA in October 1963.

On November 11, 1966, he and command pilot James Lovell were launched into space in the Gemini 12 spacecraft on a 4-day flight, which brought the Gemini program to a successful close. Aldrin established a new record for extravehicular activity (EVA), spending 5-1/2 hours outside the spacecraft.

He served as lunar module pilot for Apollo 11, July 16-24, 1969, the first manned lunar landing mission. Aldrin followed Neil Armstrong onto the lunar surface on July 20, 1969, completing a 2-hour and 15 minute lunar EVA.

In July 1971, Aldrin resigned from NASA. Aldrin has logged 289 hours and 53 minutes in space, of which, 7 hours and 52 minutes were spent in EVA.

Easley died in 1997 at the age of 89 years.

Lego Disney mini figure series 2016

Bueno... no sé si tendré tiempo de subirlos a todos... Aquí tenemos a varias versiones de un conocido personaje.

I have had to make two of these Buzz models, both for May 1st. I've never made him before (and dreaded having to!) and used an Asda bubble bath bottle as a guide for badges etc. This model is about half the size of the bubble bath bottle.
