We decided the buttons4obama machine needed to churn out some buttons in support of health care reform. We made these to give away at our local health care meeting with Congressman Jim McDermott on Wednesday.

If you have a 1.25 inch button machine and want to make your own to give out (non-commercial use), let us know and we'll get the artwork templates to you.

Please note, we do not have any of these buttons to sell or give away. This was a one run thing. But we encourage everyone to take matters into your own hands and make your own health care reform buttons! For resources of how to go about that, check out the Buttons 4 Obama website.

After much effort (and even more, after this photo was taken), I finally got the buttons fitted again. The hot exhaust from my cutting tool had deformed the structures that supported them, so I had to put my tool into "hot air gun" mode to melt them and mould them back again.

The right button still isn't perfect and wobbles a little, but the left button works good as new.

Next time I know to watch out for where my exhaust is blowing, or maybe go low-tech with a hack-saw.
