I had this nice coloured felt from a jumper that was beyond unravelling for wool but it felted up nicely. This was really an experiment that went really well! I found it hard to pin down a chouice of colours for the petal edges because I didn't want it to be all blue because then it would seem cold but I didn't want it too garish. I think this worked! The buttons are from my button jar, no idea if they're vintage or not but they were the ones who went well with the colouring and the brooch pin got raided from my jewellery equipment! I gave it to Kim when I gave her the bag for her birthday and she loved it and popped it straight on her shirt which, surprise! was exactly the right shade of blue for the felt. I feel so gifted!
