• How CEOs can approach challenges including technological disruption, shifting government policies, and volatile markets
• Firing up Europe’s economic and competitive engine
• New channels for clean energy and greater environmental stewardship
• Winning the talent battle by dedicating resources to education and re-skilling
• Pressing technology issues such as cyber security, A.I., and automation

This button was found by me with my Garrett Ace 250, in the Ossett/Horbury area. It is a uniform button issued by the Midland Railway which ran in Great Britain until 1923. A Wyvern, the emblem of the Midland Railway, is in the centre of the button. The wyvern is similar to a European dragon, but it differs in that it has only two legs and has a barbed, or snake like tail. It is said to be smaller than a dragon and sometimes to be able to breathe fire. In heraldry, it represents pestilence, conquest, or other such ideas.
we had a Dorset Button Workshop this morning..I was learning :) Ya I can now make them, and will be making very funky ones to go on bags and hats and in jewellery :)
For Class With Dave, week 18 assignment 1 - Technology.
Sure, it's been a while, but the 8 second delay with handy "Dump" button for when people say something they shouldn't is a staple of modern day radio technology. =)
I dug through my button jar and pulled out a couple of options. Which do you like better: the one blue button or the two pink ones?

This was my Mum's button bucket! I seem to remember her buying it at a neighborhood dimestore after we moved from Minnesota to California. When she passed away I found this full of buttons. Most were utilitarian, but there was a threaded loop of tiny buttons with a tag on them that read "LouAnne's baby buttons". She would be shocked and amused to know that MY button stash is so large that I could fill this bucket 20 times over and then some!
There is a walkway from the parking area to the building that houses Orthopedic Services at the local medical complex. Along it are three of these Emergency boxes with a large red button near the bottom under a sign that says "Push Button Hard". If you do, I assume that the light flashes and perhaps an alarm sounds so that someone will come and help you. I'd like to push the button just to see what would happen, but that would be wrong.
For the Jan. Scavenger Hunt #5 - In case of emergency.
To find and be found at meetups. (not a problem at an auto junkyard, but at an event like a Renaissance festival, where everyone has a camera, it'll help.)
A delicious cluster of new and vintage buttons hand-woven into a beautiful, quirky alternative christmas wreath. For hanging in windows, on trees, or even on big pressies.
A bead embroidered button embellished with pearls and Japanese glass beads. Attached to a peyote bracelete band.
This button panel is above the toilet in the bathroom stall at the Roebling Tea Room. I pushed it and nothing happened. So I pushed harder. Still nothing happened. I then asked our waiter, and he said it had something to do with an elevator shaft. Hmmmmmmm.

I ordered some handmade buttons from Tessa Ann’s The Button Shop on Etsy.com. As someone who has dabbled in making stuff with polymer clay, I could appreciate the time and detail that went into each button. Tessa Ann’s creations arrived, were in perfect condition, and were absolutely beautiful.
