this was an attempt to make a quilt like this one: flickr.com/photos/eggmoney/400373863/ , mine doesn't look like hers which really worried me at first, the buttons were an afterthought in place of quilting stitching and I love them, in the end I'm happy with it
This is Pam Brody (aka the Button Lady). We, well my good friend Holly introduced the term, call her the Button Lady, because she has all kinds of buttons adorning her clothes. She has been performing songs on the piano at the Rose & Crown Pub in the U.K. Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase for quite some time. Needless to say, when we go to Disney we make a point of stopping by for a pint or two and to say hi to Pam. She's a character.

This weeks theme for #FlickrFriday is #PushTheButton, and if you know me, you know my brain can only translate that phrase into one thing: LOST.
For those who don't know, there is a plot in the TV show where a computer is found underground, which requires someone to enter a code and then "push the button" to reset a timer before it hits zero. I would have liked to take a photo of the actual "execute" button, but I don't have the time to make one or the know how to photoshop one! (or at least, one that looks convincing)
