These scans come from my rather large magazine collection. Instead of filling my house with old moldy magazines, I scanned them (in most cases, photographed them) and filled a storage area with moldy magazines. Now they reside on an external harddrive. I thought others might appreciate these tidbits of forgotten history.
Please feel free to leave any comments or thoughts or impressions... Thanks in advance!
I have had this old coat since I was 17....I think it was originally army surplus from some Eastern block country

This is a 1958 DeSoto Sportsman FireDome 4dr Hard Top. This is a very attractive car. Yes- this could be Christine's cousin. It is complete and straight. The car is Orange-Salmon and white. The paint is in good condition with nice paint. The car has wide whitewalls and hubcaps. the tires are in decent condition. the trim is complete and in good condition. the glass is original and in good condition. the car has a V-8 motor and Automatic transmission. It is a push button transmission. There is some rust on he rear pillar and touch on wheel wells, rockers and quarters. This I was told is a 1 owner car. It has power steering and brakes. it was a daily driver for the family. The interior appears to have recovered seats in black vinyl. There are tears and wear in the seats. The interior has tan carpet and tan dash that is complete. There is a radio and clock. There are 48,270 miles showing on the odometer. There are trailer brakes and controller inside. It has rear view mirror. the door panels are in decent condition. There is a trailer hitch on the rear of the car. I was told that he used to haul cars home with this for adding to his collection.
This is a nice car that would be a great addition to any collection. Clean up or good for Restore or rod.
Rather wonkily crocheted by me in Rowan Handknit Cotton (219 Gooseberry) to the Button Loafer pattern by Hook Candy.
More practice needed! ;o)

I added the Creton stitch leaves and mother of pearl button in the upper right corner. Once I removed the embroidery hoop, it puckered. I may tear the leaves out and try something different.
