I've made these as stocking fillers for my daughter. I must love her lots to part with my vintage buttons!
A button found on a hiking trail somewhere in West Virginia. On the back is some writing in Cyrillic, including "CCCP". Probably from a Russian military greatcoat or something of the sort.
I actually cheated and got this picture on my scanner. Much easier since I don't have a decent macro camera.
This button is from the now defunct Western Welsh Bus Company. It is stamped on the back "Manclare & Son Edinburgh".

Button decided Lisa's bag was a great alternative to clothes. Especially since hers aren't finished.

This is the start of some of my less-political buttons. I am fond of the NBC 1980 Olympics badge because we did not go to the Olympics that year but NBC (my employer at the time) printed up a lot of badges and t-shirts.
Pray for Snow was from highschool -- school would get cancelled if it snowed enough. And the one to the left of it is a representation of a clothing button--a button button.
