Tried it in 100% Merino and chunky acrylic with the crochet centre and a button centre
the real one is in the centre!! hehehe
Back-zipped and back-buttoned dress on top of button-up-the-back blouse, to ensure there's no easy escape for when my male side surfaces!
Just finished a commission for two Coraline dolls, my brother asked me to do them for my sister in law as a birthday present and I had less then a month to order supplies and get them done, to say that it was rather stressful and these dolls battled me all the way is an understatement!!! I am so glad they are finished and I can get back to being a semi normal person :P
Went button hunting today ... in our city of 110,000 people I had a hard time finding any retailer who sell them! These are from Walmart's craft section. I remember the "good old days" of fabric stores with walls full of buttons ... and once I met a button-maker from Germany. I guess everyone Internet shops these days ... but I'll just keep on with my old fashioned button-hunt!
