On good days for watching birds, there’ll be up to five or six marsh harriers flying round this bush. When there aren’t any birds, I’m still captivated by the bush, the shape and colours are so nice. HTT!
These little guys don't often hold still long enough for a picture but I found a more cooperative one yesterday.
Such a gorgeous morning for a walk though already very hot by 8am. I've photographed this bridge many times, today I took it for ANSH.

After not seeing any yet this year in their usual place, I was very relieved to finally find some in Friday! Saw 8 males and one female, with one male seemingly trying to woo this female! She was slowly waving her legs about, so not quite sure what that meant in response!! Just managed to capture him with his little wings open! Couldn't hear any sound though...

Clivia miniata, the Natal lily or bush lily, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Clivia of the family Amaryllidaceae, native to woodland habitats in South Africa and Eswatini. It is also widely cultivated as an ornamental.
A beautiful lilac bush grows in my backyard. in 2013 it got cut way back. 7 years later it is finally as full as it was then. I couldn't resist taking many photo images with my Canon, then with my IPhone 11 Pro I took a few more at different angles. My favorite photography is Macro with Bokeh thrown into the mix. Bokeh is when you focus on one item whether background or foreground, zoom in on it and blur the rest of the image. I also like to layer my Photo Images giving them a dimensional look. This makes for interesting and unusual photos. The lilac is my favorite flower besides the Poppy. I love its fragrance and the differentiating purple colors. This is my latest ICM shot. I'm pleased with this one and starting to get a feel for how I want them to look
Bush killer is troublesome weed. But flowers are favored by insects.

Could be Great-green... but! It was almost dusk when I took this, hence the slow shutter speed!

Native to my area in the hills of Western Australia. A field of this bush among the Wandoo trees can look like low lying smoke.

This bush tit spent some time pulling at this small branch - never did figure out why, and it gave up eventually and flew on.
When a tree grows in the direction of the wind it is called a lazy bush. This one is influenced by prevailing westerly winds.
Saw lots on Sunday (where I also saw the Conehead). In excess of 30 I reckon!

The snowball bushes around here are very tough plants. They never get watered, and survive cold winters and hot summers. They are completely neglected.
It was windy, so I was surprised I managed to get this in focus.
This Bush Iceplant is one of the flowers we recently added to our patio. It is also known as Planta Del Hielo Arbusto de Mezcla (Lampranthus aurantiacus). We also added several other flowers, a bird feeder, bird waterer and a hummingbird feeder. I have already seen two hummingbirds coming to the feeder every day.

The pied bush chat (Saxicola caprata) is a small passerine bird found ranging from West Asia and Central Asia to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. About sixteen subspecies are recognized through its wide range with many island forms. It is a familiar bird of countryside and open scrub or grassland where it is found perched at the top of short thorn trees or other shrubs, looking out for insect prey. They pick up insects mainly from the ground, and were, like other chats, placed in the thrush family Turdidae, but are now considered as Old World flycatchers.
They nest in cavities in stone walls or in holes in an embankment, lining the nest with grass and animal hair. The males are black with white shoulder and vent patches whose extent varies among populations. Females are predominantly brownish while juveniles are speckled.
A former workplace of mine during the days when the World Service still broadcast from the building, this is Bush House.
These days it's part of the King's College campus but from this view it looks pretty much identical to how it did when I worked there ten years ago.
Went to a local airshow to take some shots for a publication and website, These WW2 buffs are friends and co-workers and hopefully they like my work as I sort thru the shots.
This is a replica of George Bush Sr.'s TBF Avenger Torpedo plane that he flew in the South Pacific. I had no clue that he had been such a skilled and decorated pilot and this aircraft was amazing. I think I might be hooked on airshows now!
