This little burning bush is growing in my neighbor, Dave, yard.. It's a little sparse in leaves but still pretty when the sun shines on it...

... in a nearby national park.

Neighbourhood, Sydney

I still haven't finished digging through my New Zealand folders. I am *very* slow when it comes to processing photos. Scratch that actually, I am very slow when it comes to doing anything.

Very large Silk Tassel Bush with abundant flowers which are exceptionally gorgeous this year and a real treat for the eyes !

A beautiful lilac bush grows in my backyard. in 2013 it got cut way back. 7 years later it is finally as full as it was then. I couldn't resist taking many photo images with my Canon, then with my IPhone 11 Pro I took a few more at different angles. My favorite photography is Macro with Bokeh thrown into the mix. Bokeh is when you focus on one item whether background or foreground, zoom in on it and blur the rest of the image. I also like to layer my Photo Images giving them a dimensional look. This makes for interesting and unusual photos. The lilac is my favorite flower besides the Poppy. I love its fragrance and the differentiating purple colors.

Burgers' Bush is a covered area of one and a half hectares in Burgers' Zoo (Arnhem's zoo), in which a piece of tropical rainforest has been recreated where humans and animals can roam freely. In this room, which was opened in 1988, people get an impression of what a rainforest looks like. Some animals in the biotope do not have a permanent residence, so visitors can encounter them in all kinds of places, including on the unpaved paths.

This blue bush clematis has been growing in my garden for several years, but this is the first time it's bloomed. Well worth the wait!

Hope you are enjoying a beautiful July week. Thanks, as always, for stopping by and for all of your kind comments -- I appreciate them all.

The Kaka doesn't seem to care that people are watching it munch on it's lunch. The beautiful kaka / bush parrot can be just as cheeky as the Kea. Taken at the Zealandia EcoSanctuary in Wellington.

Enjoying the last moments of sunshine - just seconds before the sun set behind the trees.

On good days for watching birds, there’ll be up to five or six marsh harriers flying round this bush. When there aren’t any birds, I’m still captivated by the bush, the shape and colours are so nice. HTT!

These little guys don't often hold still long enough for a picture but I found a more cooperative one yesterday.

This is my latest ICM shot. I'm pleased with this one and starting to get a feel for how I want them to look
