The Bush House Museum retains a significant amount of original furnishings, wallpaper and fixtures. There is also an archive of original photographs, documents and ephemera documenting the Bush Family. Since 1953, the Bush House Museum’s guided tours and programming have been a significant cultural-heritage asset for Salem residents and visitors.
The "Bush Bunny" is actually a Cottontail, but at perhaps a pound fully grown, "bush bunny" fits. They are extremely skittish, but there isn't much that isn't when it's prey to Red-tailed, Cooper's, and Red-shouldered Hawks as well as rattlesnakes.
This rose bush and the irises (I need to move the irises somewhere) were the only plants in the garden when I moved here.
Not many bubbles froze in the air where I wanted to shoot them. But after a while I noticed I had a collection of frozen guys sitting on the bushes.

Smiths Bush is on the North Shore, Auckland, New Zealand. There is a loop track taking about 30 - 40 minutes to walk at a leisurely pace taking you back in time with the old puriri trees. I am surprised how many people I talk to haven't been there - it's very close to the motorway (in fact cuts through it) and also close to Takapuna, Milford, Northcote and Glenfield shops.
Skeleton of a bush in the Tire Factory parking lot. The nursery seen through it was completely fine, the Harley shop to its right is history. They managed to get out all the customer bikes but lost some of their own. While trying to get them all out, someone gave up on doors and just drove a forklift through the front window.
