Sullivan Buses took over operating route 217 from Metroline on the 3rd June 2017 using brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC diesels
It is the first regular double decker route, the first high frequency (runs every 12 minutes Monday to Friday) and the largest route that Sullivan's has operated.

While several routes travelling out of town picked up along this road, there was no service into town on the other side. I suppose the local traffic director decided on a looped route in and out of the bus stations.
Fiji, of course, operates on the correct side of the road.
