While on a beer-run, I came across these railroad scenes...
Actually, these rails are a seldom used siding...
Handheld, three-exposure tonemap...
Flat as a turd!.... Much better than it was but still if it was my bus it would be more stopper, sanding and another coat. But time is pressing so must move on
Made from a single sheet of 2:1 paper. Foil paper is recommended since there are no tabs to close the model - it is open at the back, just two paper edges which with perfectly thin and stiff paper would just touch. In the real world do not and the shape takes a Pacman-like appearance (I gotta fold it in yellow paper some time). Foil paper makes it possible to keep the split relatively small.
Some recent cube stands by Owrigami reminded me of my PVM unit and I got the idea of combining several of them on a single sheet of paper. This model is essentially a 2:1 sheet divided into a 2×4 grid, with each square folded into a PVM unit (sunken version).

31430 "Sister Dora" storms up the bank from Old Heath during the Mangapps Railway Museum end of season gala. Although it may not look it, this was actually a passenger working with up to 30 people in the brake van. These numbers actually benefited to the ride as the train was loose coupled to negotiate the tight curves, with the heavy loading meaning you couldn't fall over!
Another Wingfeather drawing! This is a toad the size of a goat that eats birds, scary right? I surprisingly had a great time drawing this horrendous creature. Tell me what you think!
On the 13th January 2018 the "Fehn Caledonia" (2013, 2,589DWT) leaves Teignmouth with a cargo of ball clay for Casablanca. Nice change to get a bit of swell in the harbour entrance.
I used a roller to put the resin on and then used the air pistol to burst all the bubbles. Still leaves a bumpy surface but I'll sand it all down.
I have no idea what these are, I have never seen them before!
The leaves on the tree look like a type of Dogwood.
