This cake was originally created by Sanders in Detroit. The name came from the distinctive ripples of vanilla buttercream. The recipe is here: www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/bumpy-cake-recipe. It's a simple sour cream espresso chocolate cake with fudge frosting. It's simple, homely and delicious.
Bumpy dandelion (looks like a pretty pillow to me) and smooth bug. No idea what kind of bug this is.
The stink bug has all kinds of triangles form on it's body, the legs form triangles on the dandelion. I like the composition of all the triangles on the circle of the dandelion. The dandelion tendrils are forming triangles encircling the dandelion head.

The journey through Bergues in a tractor train with wooden coaches is charming, albeit bumpy. At the halfway mark, the train turns around in a potholed gravel car park. The jolts were so bad we spent a good deal of time in freefall before crashing back down onto our seats. The shaking and jolting were so bad Magda was literally in tears of laughter.
I chose a high shutter speed and jiggled a few shots to capture the moment.

Quick trip to South Milton sands today for sunset, didn't have much time there so I only really got the one shot. I have been to this beach and it's ever shifting sands once before. Was speaking to one of the locals who was telling me how much she liked the beach as it changes on a daily basis. Even in the short time I was there this fast flowing stream of water changed it's course.

Edit: I've just started a Facebook page to show some more of my photos, hopefully it will be used for all types of photography that I will be experimenting with. I also hope to use it to build up some like minded contacts. There's not much on there at the moment but over the coming weeks and months I will be adding plenty. If you are a facebook user and have time please take a look and maybe even like. Feel free to leave a link for any facebook pages you may have for me to check out. Cheers, Gary
