The Zeeland Bridge (Dutch: Zeelandbrug) is the longest bridge in the Netherlands. The bridge spans the Oosterschelde estuary. It connects the islands of Schouwen-Duiveland and Noord-Beveland in the province of Zeeland.
The Zeeland Bridge was built between 1963 and 1965. At the time of its completion, it was the longest bridge in Europe. It has a total length of 5,022 metres, and consists of 48 spans of 95 metres, 2 spans of 72.5 metres and a movable bridge with a width of 40 metres.
The province of Zeeland borrowed the money for the construction of the bridge. The loan was repaid by levying tolls for the first 24 years.

In this photo, I've been through it in black and white. I also wanted to contrast the image, I have taken out the bell tower, which I find very beautiful. It is a fantastic Basilica, which deserves a visit always, that you visit Bilbao. There's a neighborhood, the city, that gave it a name, "La Salve". It tells the story, that the sailors, as they climbed the estuary and saw the towers of the temple, prayed a salve, to thank the virgin, to protect them during their routes across the sea. It is a temple, which has suffered several wars, however, it has endured and has been and continues to be an important symbol of the city of Bilbao.

I posted two shots of this Eastern Phoebe this evening. This view shows her on a favorite perch in her habitat. I also posted a close portrait taken when she flew very close to me.
Eastern Phoebes almost always nest on human built structures. In this case the nest is under a boardwalk that traverses a popular wetland area in St. Albert.
She has given many of us great photo ops.

No a luchar no a pagar ninguna deuda.
Solo a VIVIR.
And suddenly life stops you,
"sit" because she wants to talk to you and you ignore her. And she talks to you and reminds you of things you might have forgotten and hugs you.
And in that hug he reminds you that you have only come to live. No to fight, no to pay any debt.
Just to LIVE.

Unique Angle Shot of the bridge, a totally different perspective. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is an Australian heritage-listed steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore. The view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is widely regarded as an iconic image of Sydney, and of Australia itself. The bridge is nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design.
