Rocamadour es una localidad situada al suroeste de Francia, famosa desde la Edad Media por ser un importante centro de peregrinaje, documentado desde 1172. Allí se ubica el medieval monasterio de Nuestra Señora y la iglesia de San Miguel.
Y es allí donde, incrustada en la roca del precipicio sobre los edificios del santuario, estuvo durante nueve siglos una espada, sujeta con una cadena. No estaba completa, sino que le falta un trozo. Los propios monjes, que identifican esta espada con la famosa Durandal, aseguran que fue el propio Roldán quien la incrustó allí, para que no cayese en manos de sus enemigos.
Durandal (o Durandarte) fue la famosa espada de Roldán, el caballero franco que murió en la batalla de Roncesvalles el 15 de agosto del 788 a manos de los vascones.

Foto de una de las calles de Getaria, con la iglesia de San salvador al fondo de la imagen. En esta localidad pesquera, nació el marinero Juan Sebastián Elcano o el diseñador Cristóbal Balenciaga. La iglesia, de estilo gótico data del siglo XIV, pero gran parte de ella, se construyo en el siglo XVI y XVIII.
Para la toma, realicé, tres fotografías, con diferentes exposiciones, para que el cielo no saliera quemado, ni los edificios muy oscuros. Posteriormente, las junte en edición.

In this fishing village, the sailor Juan Sebastián Elcano or the designer Cristóbal Balenciaga were born. The Gothic church dates from the 14th century, but a large part of it was built in the 16th and 18th centuries.
For the shot, I took three photographs, with different exhibitions, so that the sky would not be burned out, nor the very dark buildings. Later, I put them together as an edition.

The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael over the village of Oreanda was built in 2006 at the foot of Mount Ai-Nikola. As archaeological excavations indicate, an ancient Christian monastery used to be located on this site. The temple was built by the famous Yalta architect Vyacheslav Bondarenko and is surrounded by mountains. When broadcasting the singing of the male church choir, voices repeatedly reflected from the rocks create an unusual acoustic effect. Such a monumental sound can only be achieved in special concert halls.

Храм начали строить в 2005 г., а уже 21 ноября 2006 г., в день празднования Собора Архистратига Михаила и прочих Небесных сил бесплотных, совершилось его торжественное открытие и освящение. С этого времени тут начали совершаться богослужения, таинства крещения и венчания, другие требы.
В плане он квадратной формы, а с востока прибавлена алтарная часть в виде полукруглой апсиды. С других сторон стены завершаются треугольными фронтонами, опирающимися на капители белоснежных колонн. Сооружение имеет пять глав: большая, возвышающаяся в центре, символизирует Иисуса Христа, а четыре угловых – евангелистов.

Esta imagen, de la araña de Bilbao, la realicé desde el puente de la Salve. Esta escultura, representa una araña gigante, y se encuentra al lado, del Guggenheim. Además de la de bilbao, hay otras siete arañas por otras ciudades del mundo.
This image, of the spider of Bilbao, I made it from the bridge of the Salve. This sculpture, depicting a giant spider, and is located next door, of the Guggenheim. In addition to Bilbao, there are seven other spiders in other cities around the world.
