This is a shot of the lobby of the Cedar Point Conference Center at Firelands Campus of Bowling Green State University in Huron, Ohio. I liked the light in the lobby. To me, this type photograph is a true study in light.

Nestled in Old Towne Olive Branch, this cozy café has a story as rich as its coffee. The building once served as the Birmingham Lumberyard office, but since 2013 it’s been home to Pinks Coffee House. Founded by Canadian ex-pat Leanne Nastasi, Pinks blends small-town Southern charm with international spirit. Its eclectic, welcoming vibe invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy breakfast, lunch, fresh baked goods, and a wide variety of coffee and teas. The name “Pinks” honors Leanne’s family journey with breast cancer, symbolizing resilience and the bright outlook of moving forward. A little piece of history reimagined — and still serving the community in a new way.
I've decided to shoot some more of Portland's unique architecture. This is the first of what will hopefully be a number of architectural photos I'll take this winter.

A striking example of modern organic architecture, this building's fluid lines and curved balconies create a sense of movement and harmony. The monochrome palette enhances its sculptural elegance, emphasizing contrast and form.

Bulk carrier docked by the Domino Sugar Factory in Baltimore - May 25, 2019. I will actually be Galveston, Texas, this week, so I am expecting more industrial landscape like this!*
*It will actually be more like endless oil refineries, not sugar factories...
