We’re proud to add the heavy-lift human rated version of Blue Moon to our project.
This crewed variant is designed to transport astronauts to and from the lunar surface, utilizing an ascent vehicle that will allow us to return to the Moon.
As a lunar lander it will also be able to deliver large infrastructure payloads, pre-positioned to sites on the Moon for future missions.

Here is an image comparison between a photo of our design built in real Lego bricks, at 1/110 scale, and the real launch tower with its Long March V (CZ-5) rocket.
On this project, we worked for a long time both on the accuracy and on the details.

Here’s a picture of Starship-Super Heavy with its stable mate Falcon Heavy along with Saturn V - each are exacting 1:110 in scale.
All three are currently on display at the Dennis Johnson Library, Stanhope in Sydney Australia, where they'll be exhibited to the public till the end of February 2019. We couldn’t have imagined the support you’d all show when we first started working on this project in September 2018.
The last minute change to silver had us painting hundreds of parts, well after we thought the build and photos were all finished, but it was worth it! We know that won’t be the last change, so we're going to keep pace with the evolving design as it’s announced, and work on more elements and improvements. This Lego model was designed without any official plan, just with the Wikipedia rocket dimensions and from some photos found on the web.
Then afterwards, we converted the rocket sizes at 1/110 scale and we created with Photoshop the rocket blueprint.
Once the rocket was built, by comparing the photos of the real launch pad, we were able to create the plans for the platform and its launch tower! It was a long work but pleasant, very interesting and educational.
