This bug walked around the rim of the light in my living room for at least 30 min. I took about 40 photos and this was my favorite.

Got this one this afternoon 05th June 2011 at Harina Vanasthali Deer Park.

We went to the World's Largest Nachos event at SoMa Street Foods, which was put on by the folks at Chirps Chips. Chirps Chips are made with flour from ground up crickets, so there was a large "bug" theme at the event. Our favorite part was the Bug Zoo in the back. It was filled with hissing cockroaches, stinkbugs, blue death feigning beetles, and other insects.

The black Bug came out in 1988 and was meant to be a pro model for Mike Vallely but he wanted the elephant graphic so it bacame a Team Pro Model. The Pink Bug has a rounded nose and came out in 1989.

The blue bug ate the mint. :)

I'm starting to feel badly at how little I know about plants & insects. This little guy was mighty cute, but I don't know his name! The wild grasses in my backyard are just crawling with life! : ) Seen on June 28, 2007 in Columbia County, New York, USA. Identified as a Two-Spotted Grass Bug!

The tiny black specks on the nest are Swallow Bugs (Oeciacus vicarius), relatives of the infamous human bed bug. Best known for infesting colonial nesting species like Cliff Swallows, they can also torment solitary nesters like Barn Swallows on occasion. These parasites have also been known to enter human habitations and bite people when Cliff Swallows nest under the eaves of houses. KN
