His (her?) face is making me feel a bit guilty. I didn't kill him, though, he was already dead. Prepping these guys for future stop-motion animation. (Heterorrhina sexmaculata beetle)

This fearsome looking insect I spotted while walking along a woodland path, The orange spot on its back and the pattern along it;'s side seems to suggest a forest bug after looking in my insect book. Again confirmation would be welcomed.
Ok I know I'm going to get a lot of ews for posting this but hey even insects deserve a little flickr time..lol

Okay this is gross. This bug was on one of my towels I had hanging up. I think it layed eggs on the towel. After I took the picture I had to scrape whatever it was off my towel. I found it creepy but yet my Flickr obsession made me take a picture of it.
This is our Bugs Away soap. It is an insect repellent, in the shape of a caterpillar. It smells of citronella.

Nasty bugs are attacking my little lime tree that is already suffering mightily from the unusual freeze we had this winter.
On the branch they look sort of like buds, but with nasty white moldy looking stuff involved. They are soft and squishy and gooey when you pull them off. Also once you get them off you see little wiggly legs and their icky little mouth.
I like them not at all.
If somebody could identify them, so I can find the best way to kill them, before I simply douse the tree with gasoline and set fire to it, that would be lovely.
Bugs snuggle close together on this plant. I'm not sure what the plant is or what the bugs are, but the shot was taken in October in Athens, Ohio.
this bug has been living in my house for a few days, hanging mostly on the curtains. i don't know what it is, but it crawls and it flies and it appears harmless. and it's not a texas roach so i don't really care!
this was one my initial experimental shots on canon A 490. non edited... A490 gives excellent colors...!
This jumping plant louse certainly caught my attention- it was doing what I can only describe as a walking wiggle dance on a water barrel

Banded Alder Borer: A tidbit of weird info about this bug is that they are attracted to fresh paint, thought is that the paint smells some what like pheromones thus the attraction.
