All the women attending the “Coconut Show” received a crown, like the one Maggie is wearing. They were then asked how many of you are on your honeymoon? I think that 9 out of 10 said yes. They were next asked how long they had been married? When Maggie said 41 years, she was crowned the “Old Mama.” I’m sure that to the Tahitians this is a term of respect and endearment. But, to my wife, this meant payback. For the next few days, every time Maggie saw Moe, she would come up to him with a stern look on her face and say, “What did you call me the other day?!!! “Old Mama?!!! All in fun though.
