The small figure is standing on the lip of an inverted antique glass bowl, supported by a ring. The blur is provided by temporarily placing bubble wrap between the lens and subject during a long exposure.

Drawing, focusing on tone and contrast. I enlarged this, printed with the lines and painted it onto bubblewrap itself.

Half term at art school, so Vik set it up so I could go down to her work and use the embossing press. Loved it - rn lots of things through it - very happy.

This is bubble wrap - which sounds amazing when it's going through a press tht puts a couple of tonnes of pressure on each inch.....

Yay for bubble wrap? Brant and Vicki obviously weren't expecting this.

Lay the wrap with the bubble domes toward the windscreen glass - making sure it's clean first - the cavities between the bubbles provide air pockets of insulation.

Yeah, it's fun to pop bubblewrap - however sealed air bags are so much better.

Got a big delivery from an online store, and they used air bags to stop things moving in the box. Needless to say, I laid those bad boys out on the floor and popped those things. Love the loud bangs these things make when you stand on them & make them pop.

Here are some of my smaller vases. Bubblewrap all the way with these guys. I plan on making mostly small stuff at NAU. I need some pieces to go into the soda kiln.
