We went to Cottage Grove for the covered bridge tour. Initially, this route was meant to be a biking experience that started at downtown Cottage Grove. Since the weather called for rain, we opted for a 20+ miles drive instead.
This quiet little town has a world class cycling path. The bike path went through forest and grassy areas, over bridges and tunnels. It made me envious of not having the opportunities to ride here.
Albert is always interested in riding his bike on a nicer weather, especially going to work, www.icomcanada.com/. It's a nice way of staying fit, and contributing to health and wellness for life journey, plus saving on motor vehicle expenses.

This pedestrian and car tunnel opened in 1911, offering Hamburg residents a much more easier and direct route to the large docks. It is still there doing what it was built for, but other bridges and tunnels have since opened, which are now more convenient for vehicle traffic, meaning it is not used by vehicles as much as it used to. It is still possible to drive a car though here though, using one of the car lifts. It is also very popular for pedestrians and cyclists.
