After weeks of creative stagnation, I was finally able to get out a full drawing, in one night, and I'm pretty pleased with the result. I might continue to darken the background (I'm wearing down my poor 6B pencil as a result) and possibly make adjustments to the hand/arm before I finish this off with fixative.
I don't know where the spark came from, but I hope that this is a sign of better things to come.
