It was worth getting out of bed for . The sun beginning to show where it is going to rise and light up the landscape . A few more to come from here but I think the last sunrise shoot from this spot for this year as the sunrise has swung a lot further South now and may not be long before we the sunrise popping out of the sea along the South Coast.

I had headed to the road to take some foggy morning photos, hoping to catch a truck passing, but when I saw the sun beginning to break through the clouds, I turned my attention back toward the property.

This photograph was taken at pedestrian Esplanade bridge. I find it fascinating with different angle of light and how it changes the moment. I went to the same location for the past several weekend at different timing to observe the light interaction at different angle. It gets entirely a different mood during rainy days.
The moment I took this image, I knew I got what I want. From building the picture frame, the angle to illustrate the light interaction with the structure, the light where it hits the subject, the subject direction, as well as the sense of space. I am glad I waited for the moment.

It’s interesting that the March Break for our schools is sometimes referred to as the Spring Break even though officially Spring starts the day after March Break ends. I am sure these students were glad to be taking ski lessons instead of being inside a classroom when conditions were great for the slopes on this past school break. Happy first day of Spring!
