Originally I took this shot for the blog of my wife but I liked the outcome enough to post it here. The little sister of Prozac05's friend got a hold of this plastic foam brain (which is meant to be squeezed by uninspired office nerds in order to get their own brain working). She apparently thought: "Why squeezing it when you could just incorporate it as well." and took a bite with her 8 teeth. Pretty clever for a nine month old.

Reads like a troll, smells like a troll

'... going for the Holy Grail of Software Engineering and developing an algorithm engine (deemed impossible) that will generate 1M + algorithms per second on a supercomputer or cluster of PS3s in (any) programming language. The other half of the problem is creating a visual 3D and manageable structure for software. Solving this problem has involved all of my brainpower ...'

Hey blake what's the problem your solving? Ah found it. Better still I read this article ~ myblog.rsynnott.com/2007/05/perils-of-outsourcing.html

'... My name is Blake Southwood and I'm the founder of Brontosaurus Software. I have recruited smart MBAs and 2 lawyers to work on the business plan and right now I'm in the midst of trying in vein to recruit lisp programmers for a software project to create high level machine thinking. ... The Catch-22 is that we can't pay programmers till we get funding ...'

Can you code? Ahh then I found this article ~ www.alu.org/pipermail/uk-lispers/2006q4/000169.html

'... now has hit a seemingly insurmountable roadblock which is the lack of demonstrateable software ...'

A demo? ...

'... In the end all startups morph their business plan ( I know that I did) and they go through lots of engineers and deal with management. But with a common goal and a collective brainpower it would be advantageous for foes (potential fledgling competitors) to become comrads and cooperate together for a common good. ... They would also immediately have more engineers on board (which is always good) ...'

But this ones my favourite ~ startupsmeetandmerge.blogspot.com .. Blake your a bloomin comedian. Your talent is wasted ... couldn't dream this stuff up even if I tried.

Hmm, reads like a troll, smells like a troll ...

La batalla por una voz política

1848-1918

BACKSTORY: Kasson Crooker was not available and was replaced for this show, but Liz Enthusiasm and The Other Sean T. Drinkwater played, and some members of the (horrible) opening "band" sometimes played some backup instruments as well. Freezepop played the following songs: Boys On Film, Parlez Vous Freezepop, Science Genius Girl (diff mix than the FreQuency or Freezepop Forever versions), Bike Thief, Get Ready 2 Rokk, Frontload, Super-Sprode, Brainpower, Plastic Stars, Stakeout, Less Talk More Rokk, The Final Countdown (by Europe). The only disappointing thing was that they did not Freezepop Forever or the Jem & The Holograms theme - the two most-requested songs by the auidence.

La batalla por una voz política

1848-1918

Obviously a lot of brainpower went into the building of the Crystal Palace and the exhibits it held, but most people would never guess that intense discussion and scientific inquiry went into picking the color that the underside of the building's girders would be painted. In fact, there was a lot of distress over the color chosen. Owen Jones, who made the executive decision in this matter, wrote "you may remember the alarm which was caused by my painting the undersides of the girders red; but I think you will see by this diagram that they could have been of no other colour." It's probably a good thing the Palace was made mostly of glass, or things could have gotten really out of hand choosing wall and ceiling colors.

"Who the hell is Rollo, where did he come from, and who let him in?

If Rollo was a genius walking amongst mere mortals, he would be Moab’s Bill G. moving 2-ton boulders by sheer force of brainpower. If Rollo was a musician he would be Tom Waits singing “Get Behind The Mule.” If Rollo was an animal he would be a 3-toed sloth hanging from a tree in South America. If Rollo was a bartender he would be the deceased owner of the Persian Zam Zam Room or the very alive Bill at the Silver Peso. If Rollo was Italian, he would resemble the existential philosopher known as Fulvio. If you wanted to meet Rollo right now, he’s in the cheapest bleacher seats at a Milwaukee Brewers game.

Rollo is all of these and none of them. Rollo is also an angry young clown and he’ll be damned if he’s gonna wear Lycra or care about what the metallurgical content of frame tubing is, or what kind of stinkin’ rear derailleur is missing from his bike. Rollo is all about the bigger, scarier picture. If you think Rollo could be your buddy, then he might just be your next bike."

La batalla por una voz política

1848-1918
