Our 18 year old cat has always liked boxes, but he has recently taken to sleeping in this one especially.
Sunset shoot up at Box Head the other day,
sky and clouds were not great so had a play with NIK colour effects in PS.
found this filter "Midnight" which i have altered slightly to lighten the image back up,
I like the blur effect it gives and the painterly feel from the final out come.
3 OR 4 images merged as HDR before the PS treatment (from MAGIC LANTERN firmware in camera).

At Harpsden, Oxfordshire, a K6 telephone kiosk, now home to the 'Wonky Book Box'. Although, everything looks a bit wonky! Also, a Queen Elizabeth II wallbox stands alongside.

Newfoundland is called "The Rock" for good reason. The bedrock of the Canadian Shield is never far beneath the surface of the soil. With such shallow soil, many of the power poles require additional anchoring by boxes of rocks above the surface. The trees are also stunted for lack of soil.
Chocolate Cake, covered in chocolate buttercream, with slabs of chocolate for the "box' and hand made chocolates and marshmallows on top. Yep, the birthday girl likes chocolate!
The box was originally a tiny shoe-shaped paper mache box that can be frequently found in arts and crafts stores like Michaels or A.C. Moore’s. I covered the box with polymer clay and painted the inside with yellow glitter acrylic paint.
Most Box turtles I see here are black and yellow. This guy must be Halloween ready as he had much more orange than usual on his head and legs.
