I filed my application for the tenured permanent position in digital textuality and digital aesthetics in Humanistic Informatics in Bergen today. My career in a box.
Culgaith Signal Box on Friday 25 March 2016. At this point the S&C was shut north of Appleby so I knew by exploring the area I wasn't going to miss any trains. I was surprised to find the box was still manned. Not sure if this was daytime only or still 24 hours but it must be a long boring shift for the signalman without any trains

On this particular day, I was riding on the bus with Jason Eames as he drove Route 2 up and down Nebraska Avenue during the morning peak, as it was a much better alternative to being stuck outside in Tropical Storm Debby. As we passed near the area of the Tampa Greyhound Track, this little guy ran across the street right in front of the bus. Jason saw it immediately and avoided it. I only caught it out of the corner of my eye and thought it was a piece of cardboard blowing by. On the next trip, we saw the cat still sitting on the side of the road, but weren't sure if it was alive. Jason still had to several more runs on the 2, so it wasn't until a few hours later when we were able to come back up and see if this cat was still alive. Thankfully he was, but he was also obviously cold and frightened. After wrapping him up in a spare t-shirt I had and picking off all the ants that were crawling on him, he started to warm up to us, becoming quite the talkative cat. We tried taking him to the Humane Society of Tampa, but they were unable to take him. They suggested that we take him to Hillsborough County Animal Services, so that's where we went next. The Human Society gave us a cardboard animal carrier to hold him in. On the drive to Animal Services, the cat, or Box Cat as we started calling him, ended up falling asleep, obviously tuckered out from his eventful day. Though Animal Services were closed on that day, an employee who arrived at the building shortly after we did was able to take him in for us. Presumably, a loving family ended up adopting him and hopefully Box Cat is now happy and warm.
I found this cooperative Box Turtle while hiking on my grandpa's farm in Huntingdon County, PA.

In still photography and video, a matte box is a device used on the end of a lens to block the sun or other light source in order to prevent glare and lens flare. It performs essentially the same function as a lens hood and also mounts in front of the lens, but usually includes adjustable fins called French flags.Another purpose of a matte box is to hold glass or plastic filters in place in front of the lens.
- outfit perfeito, SUPER detalhado!! *0* E ela é uma doll sem acessórios, veio tudo nela! XD E os sapatinhos ao lado. A cora estava um pouco descosturando da fita, por ser de metal, pesada. Mas colei ela e agora não está caindo! o/
- make dela é adorável! Delicada e fofa e acho que fica com um ar de menina moe, super fofa mesmo! <3 Os lábios parecem formar um 3 invertido e a sombra dos olhos dá um ar ligeiramente caído, todo meigo! *-*
This is a picture box keyring, when you hold it to your eye withe light behind you can see the picture inside, unfortunatly this one has a picture of me when I was 8
Taken on the top step of the signal box. Hayley is a fantastic model so much energy and a great laugh, maybe a bit "in your face" but she does have a subtle side.

Glasgow police box, High St. and Cathedral Square being altered from its original and correct red to London police box blue. All to make it look like a 'Tardis' and provide a photo opportunity for Dr. Who fans. What price heritage and accuracy compared to a cheap theatrical prop?!
Box one set out in semi-general piles. See, there's an Old Milwaukee pile and a New Milwaukee pile, a Naked Party pile and a Random California shots pile. It got pretty weird, re-living my life through photos from random times in my life. I'm 18, I'm 27, I'm 8, I'm 35! It's been a sweet life thus far, I can sure tell you that!
Balkan Beat Box: free concert in Central Park, July 2006. I tried (I really did!) to get some pictures of the musicians and singers alone, but the belly dancer never left the center of the stage. We were in the bleacher at some distance from the stage. I was using a fully-extended 300 mm telephoto with a limited aperture, so the images are a bit grainy.

The box elder bugs are partial to the blood flower plants near the garden area at Strawberry Plains. The blood flower juice is an irritant to human skin and more serious to many insects but the box elder bugs seem to thrive on them.

A beautiful adult male Eastern Box Turtle found crossing a road early in the morning after a night of heavy thunderstorms. During the heat of the summer months, this species and other turtles often estivate to avoid the hot and dry conditions. But heavy downpours can bring the turtles out where they search for prey and mates.
