MacroMondays#Father
Tomorrow would be my father's birthday, so in memory of him I took a picture of a small jewelry box that he bought for my mother.
The box is handmade and made of rosewood.
HMM!
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe, and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️
Photographed in the Blue Mountains, Walla Walla County, Washington near a nest box. There are many nest boxes along the Jasper Mountain Road and some of the other roads in the area. I believe this one was on Whiskey Creek Road. Most appeared to be occupied mostly by bluebirds but a few are being used by Tree Swallows. IMG_1945

Leather box for jewellery. It's my souvenir from the Podhale region (Southern Poland). I bought it many years ago. In this region you can find many leather products made for tourists :)
Smile on Saturday - theme: "Made of leather" :)
Looking close on Friday theme Wood carving. This is a carved cigarette box. Cleaned and oiled. Haven't used it for about 50 years.
Two baby alligators in a plastic box, for a Texas Master Naturalist class at Brazos Bend State Park in Needville TX. Responding to Ger’s comment below, I’ll add that the long one is about 30-40cm. The box is Tupperware, barely big enough for him to stretch out, but maybe 20cm high.
Happy Crazy Tuesday!
Posting five at once, not something I normally would do, but wanted to get these all in my Flickr page. These were all seen on the same morning, on a tiny country road in southeastern Indiana. It is a road I frequent in June and September; In June, if I'm lucky, I might see one or two of these turtles over a week's time. Never imagined seeing five all on the same morning.
I certainly don't expect comments on all of these.
Just loved the way this one curved himself around the rose hip whilst feeding on it!
