These are our checkered favor boxes. A great addition to many different kinds of parties! Motorcycle, car, racing and 80's themed parties. When you purchase the file from our etsy shop, we will email you a printable pdf file that will allow you to print and create as many favor boxes as you may need for your event. The file is black and white and you can print it on whatever color paper works with your theme. The pdf file is designed to create as big of a box as possible out of a standard 8.5x11" sheet of paper. We recommend printing them on card stock to create a very sturdy little box.

I bought a Large Pick-A-Brick Box at the Bellevue Square LEGO Store for $149.99 ($163.48 after tax) on 23 February 2009

My dad and me filled it up with medium blue, lime, and black 1x4 bricks and clear 1x2 bricks.

The box is solid white, with no markings of any kind, not even a box certificate, which usually appears on the bottom of most cardboard boxes, nor a manufacturer name or logo.

Taken from the Box Hill Community Arts Centre where we meet to spin and weave on Wednesday, Wednesday evening and Thursdays. I love the fence.

The Eastern box turtle is one of four sub-species of box turtles found east of the Mississippi and is the most common terrestrial turtle in the eastern United States. The box turtle is named for its ability to completely box up inside its shell when it feels threatened (NCwildlife.org). Male and female box turtles are sexually dimorphic as adults. Adult males are most often larger than females and males also have a concave indention in the rear lobe of their plastron (NCwildlife.org). When I picked up the turtle I could tell there was an indention deeper than what would be expected of a female thus leading me to believe this is a male Eastern Box Turtle. The importance of the indention becomes apparent during breeding when mounting females.

Not a surprise to find this little guy in Pine Forest B on campus as this location is moist with a couple vernal pools. The Eastern Box turtle is omnivorous, feeding on mushrooms, plant stems, leaves, and numerous other types of food. Box turtles are important ecologically as they disperse and facilitate germination of certain plant seeds through the eating of berries as well as controlling the population of injurious insects to humans (van Dijk).

The box is a very nice and thick cardboard. There’s ribbon on the top panel and a bow tied in the back.

I bought these metal pencil boxes about 25 years ago in Brownsville Texas at a discount store on Palm Blvd. Charming mis-interpretation into English.

Top Box: "We're happy on every respect on opening. I was surprised thatthe dox was full of love."

Bottom Box: "Why do you walk so onesided, my child? It is far more becming to go straightforward."

Here are some pictures of my handmade cigar box uke ... which is incomplete. It still needs a bridge. I really like the way it looks now though! The inlayed star (my first time trying inlay... in case you couldn´t tell) is a river clam found in Redwood Falls, and so is the S in the soundhole. The wood of the neck was trashpicked, and the wood of the fingerboard is from a broken beach chair handle. The tuners are classical guitar tuners cut and carved to match. I can´t wait to get a sound out of this thing!

My Great-grandfather made this wooden box-it dates from late Victorian,I guess. It nearly falls apart.

For many years now I keep my art cards in it.

It's one of my treasures, and it tells me how old I am!

I was a bit alarmed when I saw that there was a huge dent in the side of the box. I'm happy to say that none of the key were damaged.

My Grandmother passed away last Sept. She would have been 97 last Oct. She collected music boxes and my family gave me this one. Finally, I am taking a picture.

Here's a homemade light box I whipped together for a friend using leftover materials from past projects.... 1/4" foam core board, poster board and vellum paper, all held together with PVA glue! The test subject is an old model I built in 1983, the classic Revell 1/48th scale Apollo Lunar Module.
