Macho and his bear, a long time ago.

I know what you are thinking...why did I take a photo of our boxer dog going pee pee? Um, because I can?!

Morrie only occasionally lifts his leg to pee.

He's not so smart sometimes!

Photographed using my cell phone in our back yard.

Look at how happy this boy is!! :)

This pup, whatever breed she is, wherever she came from, all I know is she will be loved and cherished for the rest of her life.

Will be going to vet with them tomorrow and will keep everyone posted on her.

Go see the last pic in my photostream to hear about this little sweetheart and her rough start to life.

I love Boxers.... they are lovely, amazing and best friend ever!!!!

Curtis getting his lick on.

Meet Plato. Or Playdoh. Marlena wouldn't say which one it is. I preferred Plato at first but after playing with him, he's definitely a Playdoh.

"Oh my God! ...don't go into the forest alone!!!"

This seems to be her favourite place to sleep... although I could be a tad bias.

Some people say they are just pets or just animals.

But for me, the way they touch me happens to be a lot more. My whole life, from little to now, I've always felt like Eliza from The Wild Thornberrys. If you don't know the Nickelodeon show, it was one that when I watched I felt connected to Eliza. Eliza had the ability to talk to animals.

I always have felt l had another sense of understanding animals. Friends of mine have cats that refuse to say '"meow" [hello] to others [or even be remotely social] to me they just crawl right into my lap and instantly feel protected. I've had three cats in my life. Kody now gone. Oreo that famous one with the piercing green eyes and Scooter whom if you came over you could most likely have a conversation with her for as much as she loves to meow when you talk to her. I've had two dog, Bandit the Beagle who was my childhood best friend and I have Buster the English bulldog who has farts that could seriously be a biohazard. He's just in Sweden now.

Now there is Ruby in my life, whom brings me joy because I have the ability to [hopefully see yesterdays daily] watch her grow from a puppy and on. I don't remember Bandit's early days in my life very well, I was a wee one too but to see something progress, to see them develop fascinates me. Even her littlest quirks like yanking my Macbook unplugged to dragging her bed over to fall asleep by your feet. To talking to people on Skype, she's pretty darn adorable. Even the best of her just sliding like a baseball player into a base to make a great steal, when playing fetch. The whole look her is her patient look when she's terrified of the wind.

In my life I hope to be compassionate about animals, of all kinds. Cats, dogs, rabbits, snakes, tarantulas, camels and more. I want to love them like I love the world, they happen to be a big part of my world.

my old curtis just turned ten. you gotta love boxers.

HDR

"In computer graphics and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of exposures (the range of values between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows."
