I took this at Bournemouth beach at about 5pm on a winters evening. When this came up on the camera after about 3 minutes I was so shocked at the result as it looked simply stunning! When I took the photograph it was nearly pitch black.
I also took my 35mm film camera along but by that time the lights from the city had made the photographs orange and too dark.
Exposure time - 3 minutes
Aperture - f/14
ISO - 100
Shot in RAW

Hoping to have seen a glorious sunset and the simultaneous rising of tonight's Strawberry Full Moon, but sadly there was just too much cloud around to oblige.

22/03/2015; I was a little saddened by the fact that the lovely girlfriend had taken the sensible decision by having gone home already because she had to work the day after, and she didn't want to take the risk of having to rush around the morning after, but at least Mother Nature treated me to this pretty sunset for (some) compensation.

The scene today is rather different, with M&S closed and John Menzies now a branch of Superdrug. Bealesons closed it's doors in 1982, replaced by The Avenue shopping centre.

A short stay in Bournemouth from earlier in the year. The beautiful Autumn weather provided some fantastic conditions for atmospheric Landscape photography at both sunrise and sunset. On the southern coast of England. It's known for having 7 miles of beaches and historic Victorian architecture.

(The shot was taken from the Pier, looking back towards the beach. But for anyone who knows Bournemouth who might be a little disorientated ...the image has been flipped horizontally as I wanted the ball on the left!)

So one more groyne to show you from Bournemouth beach. I think personally i prefer the composition of this one compared to the previous photo but something strange happened with the clouds, i'm pretty sure this happened before I started processing it or anything so all a bit odd.
Also I have started to become concerned that my monitor maybe completely out of calibration, so let me know if this looks really strange on your computer, cheers
Enjoy :)
