This was taken immediately after the funeral of John Salmon. I saw the 92 waiting on the down slow immediately north of Retford. This was a piece of track I had much discussion with John about, as I still need it, and when I saw the 92 waiting I decided it was appropriate to get lineside and take a picture

Built in 1887, it is the oldest building on the campus of Penn State that has not undergone exterior renovation.

Maintained by the university's Botany Department, the garden is home to more than 500 plant species.
Richard Porcher (pictured) and I explored a very cool place ast week. There are some high ground risges, dominated by sandy soil with a lot of shell remnants, surrounded by river swamp. Unusual assortment of plants; we intend to keep going back to this and similar sites through the season.

Built from Tornado KA25s non broken hull and 2 Mosquito hulls (1 also broken and repaired) and two 14' mast section beams with dolphin strikers. Initially Tornado rig and later on larger jib from Iain Murray's 18 footer skiff "Colour 7". Two trapezes and tiller steering (or later on wheel steering from centre cockpit).
Fingers of light just after dawn emphasize the shapes and shadows of the shells left atop driftwood by beachcombers at Botany Bay. Shelling is prohibited so people leave their finds for others to see.
