My very favourite smells are in the garden. These are photos of the plants that are flowering in my garden this very afternoon. Many of them are highly fragrant... and beautiful to boot. I really love my garden - it can stand alone as a sensory feast. But it has been much neglected this year (too, too many demands on my time turned it into something of a chore, regrettably) and the act of taking these photos (please note that masses of weeds are curiously not included in these shots) has reminded me how important the garden is for my creative expression and fulfillment... I might just get outside and get that vegie patch in order for some late spring plantings...
