This is Makenna Missal, a 13 year old supporter of the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and who will be taking part, with her father, in the 100 mile 2011 Ride to the Cure event in Burlington Vermont on July 30th.
Training is taking place on the W&OD Trail that stretches from Shirlington to Purcellville, VA. Here we are right next to the Carolina Brother's BBQ restaurant in Ashburn.

OWH Designer Bootcamp - Color Theory-Analogous
This is a card using an Analogous color scheme. I applied turquoise, royal blue, and violet pigment inks to a piece of white cardstock creating the background and then stamped Hero Arts' "Silhouette Grass" with black Versafine ink. This was then mounted onto a black card. The final touch was the dragonfly charm, adhered to the card with Glossy Accents.

Di's a true inspiration. She's a 53 year old mother of 3 who is also a champion body sculptor.

I tried to work the composition of these shots around the theme (re: Financial Meltdown) as best I could. I live in Korea, so finding someone who is unemployed (read: drunk all day) is like shooting hookers in a barrel. You can't miss.
If you can't tell, this is us doing anything for a buck. Today, we're digging for gold up in them thar hills!

Wow March bootcamp group, can't believe we made it through another rotation. We did a few new things this month, paddling was one of them. Hard work!
